I`ve always thought Bamford would come good
Seriously he`s getting the goals which you cannot knock scores every 1 in 4 chances he gets too
Bamford is certainly putting in the effort up front which maybe Piroe wouldn`t do.
Piroe shows more finesse in front of goal and I too would like to see him play upfront this Saturday.
Gray`s injury looked worse than James so fingers crossed he is ok.
We did look a little leggy in that second half which was understandable.
Whilst a win on Saturday would be nice I would be happy if we rest several key players.

I'm guessing the likes of piroe, cooper, byeam, gnonto and possibly gelhardt will start

Doubt this will happen but wouldn`t mind a back 4 of Byram, Cresswell, Cooper and Shackleton.
Throw in the likes of Poveda, Anthony, Joffy, Josephs and Piroe and I wouldn`t complain.
I reckon a 2-1 win for Plymouth.

Trouble is Tad there's hardly any movement from the Premier league... everyone is spooked by FFP.

Plus, any loan signing isn't guaranteed minutes at the moment. Most clubs and players want minutes for their loan players, and unless someone gets injured (it's likely, but not guaranteed) then most loan players are likely to be on the bench, and if so, I'm sure they prefer to be on the bench in the PL than in the championship

I can understand the frustration from a number of Championship Managers who say the January window is a nightmare.
Like you have said PL teams want their players to get game time and not sit on the bench.
Perfect example was that of Carvalho who would have been a great signing for us but we couldn`t guarantee game time.
I`m sure we signed Spence with a view to him playing on a regular basis.
So we must be able to guarantee a new RB coming in to the team will play more often than not.
Whilst Gray has been great he is not imo a RB and depending on the severity of his injury we are relying on Byram and Shackleton who also have an injury waiting to happen.

I was already moaning that they have an extra day to us.
I was thinking if they draw their game tonight the replay might be Tuesday but not if they are playing Coventry.
If we draw with Plymouth when is it scheduled to be replayed?

no idea. the police usually insist on 10 days so I guess a week on Tuesday or Wednesday.
