Quote: christopher "This is the main reason this season has been really frustrating one, look at our points difference, which is usually a good indicator of how the team is going (but ultimately pointless if you finish on fewer points than everyone else!)

There's 4 losses that have really annoyed me this season. At home to London, at home to Hull FC, at home to Wigan and away to Saints Helens.

They were all winnable and the first 3 we were in a winable lead that we threw away, turn those around and we're in a position for 2nd place - not that we deserve it but you could arguably say Hull FC with a worse PD than us don't either.'"
Hopefully we won't have to rely on that point difference.

I'm just hoping we get the job done against London, who I think could still stay up even if we beat them, its so unpredictable but Huddersfield look shot - but who knows.

I could just do with being able to enjoy our last 2 home games as I think I've felt tense for every single one of them this year.

I keep looking at the points and the remaining fixtures and trying to figure out the permutations - but I've given up, basically I was trying to see if we lost all 3 could we still stay up, I think the answer is yes but if it comes to that it will have been the most disappointing season I can remember.

let's all hope we do the job against London.I agree Huddersfield look in big trouble fortunately for them they play Catalan at home last game of the season.

We just need to beat London and then we can relax. We're lucky some of the teams around us are playing each other this final 3 games.

I'm reasonably happy we're safe but any of the bottom five can pull results out and they're all desperate to avoid the drop.

We should be too physical for London if we pick the right side, and I'd take them on and really work them hard in D. If they keep their noses in and their belief builds we could be in trouble.

I doubt Ward will play on the plastic pitch but would like to see big Mik back.

Catalan with Tomkins and MM back are a different proposition though

Part of the reason I’m impatient to secure safety me thematically is because I want to see what the club does next.

We have managed two, possibly three good mid-season signings who are all first team starters.

To really move forward though we need a decision on the coaching set up and a couple more high quality bodies bringing in.

It is a fiendishly difficult job to balance that quality with the club culture but KS needs to show some good judgment over the next six months in particular - if we’re to avoid yet another embarrassing season.

Not only could stay up with 3 losses but still pretty likely that we would. Even with 3 losses, the 3 clubs on 18 points would effectively need to win a minimum of two each and wakey one for us to go down, such is our points diff. Possible but v. unlikely.

One thing that surprises me currently, is that there doesn't seem to be any instruction yet on Wakey and Salford to bring their games forward on the last round of the season. Currently Salford v Hull KR and Wakey v London are on the Sunday, after all the other games. Bearing in mind 3 of these sides are in the relegation mix, and one of them is fighting within the top five, that the integrity of the competition is dependent on all matches finishing at the same time.

Don't wish to be rude but can you tell me what integrity is? (Especially in the context of the RFL).

There's no history of making this sort of fixture change in Rugby League and I don't expect it will be any different this time.

When did we have a similar scenario?

Getting back to the remaining fixtures I think if Wire win the CC final and do what some winning finalists do and go on a post cup winning downer ,we may have a chance of beating them at Headingley. Yes I know I'm straw grasping

We'll they've lost 5 in a row, so I'd be quite hopeful we could turn them over.
