Glad Johnson played well, like a few others I have high hopes of him. Agar purrs every time he talks about him.'"
Could be even more, Lee Smiths son is an excellent fullback in our scholorship, Joe Gibbons, who played today, is the son of our ex player David Gibbons and JJB's next son is better than the one we'v just signed imo, he plays for Stanningley u14s and i would be shocked if he isnt in our Scholorship intake for next season.

He will but why not sharing them in 2022?

Just needs a chance. Once he gets in I think he'll be there for good. Neither Leeming or Dyer will want to cop an injury.

Agreed. Can't see Dwyer stopping him. He looks a very clever 9 and can play in the halves aswell.
In terms of the other young men,
Morgan Gannon has taken to SL like a duck to water. Probably best at SR.
Jarod O'connor looks capable aswell. Will more than likely see his best work at 13
I'm certain we have others but I haven't seen enough to make a judgement.

| I hope they keep O'connor. Mega consistent and never lets you down. As others have said, he looks to have bulked up in the off season. I think he should model his game on Ryan Hinchcliffe who was always a small forward, but had a great career for the Storm.

That’s an interesting shout. He seems to have plenty of RL smart to me and an excellent attitude.

| I think there is something to be said for "sons of...". It's not just the genetics, but they've seen what it takes to reach the top in the sport.
Some time on loan this season and regular game time will do him the world of good.
Seems a good game yesterday, glad Max got a couple and it certainly looked competitive!

| Judging by yesterday, I’ll be surprised if Mustapha and O’Connor don’t return from Bradford Bulls quite quickly. Loans are recallable after two weeks into the championship season.
On to FC and I’m expecting quite a test in this one with probably our strongest squad to date, plus with it being the first week of Dual Registration and loans, we will be without Mustapha, O’Connor, Johnson for starters to Bradford & maybe Broadbent, Edwards and Tindall to Featherstone.
Walters & Holroyd injured.

| Nice to see the Bulls banner in support of Rob on Sunday. "Rivalry aside".

I'm not sure Martin has done enough in pre-season although I'm only going by the games.
I suspect we might see Mellor in that left SR spot (his more natural side). Again don't think Sutcliffe is fit enough/had chance to show enough yet to get past Briscoe at left centre (and of course it's Tom's testimonial so he's a bit of a shoe-in!).

I'd be a bit surprised if Fev use those players on DR in week 1. Maybe Broadbent if McDermott wants to use him from the start and/or if Pickersgill is still injured and Hall is moved to full back. Joey Leilua arrived yesterday and I don't know if he comes into consideration as soon as this weekend for one centre spot but Josh Hardcastle had a cracking game against Wakefield. If Pickersgill is still injured and Leilua isn't considered ready then Broadbent might be selected.
I would see Edwards as being behind Broadbent if we do need anyone and Tindall hasn't been mentioned as a DR possible as far as I'm aware yet and he won't get a game if Gale and Briscoe are fit.
