Doesnt sound like Eastmond will play judging by Agar's press conference.

I’d love it to work out with Eastmond but I just can’t see it unfortunately. Some strong recruitment decisions need making around the halves we don’t want to be last to move again. The concern is he’s got 2 years without proving himself.

Agar said Gale was back but wouldnt commit on Eastmond and didnt sound confident he would play to me but we will see.

Two weeks is very quick to come back from a hamstring strain even if it was only a grade 1.Normal running is often possible but once you start to sprint that's then a lot more pressure on the injury. It could easily be another 1 to 4 weeks.

Eastmond's injury record is shocking in both codes in afraid. We knew this would happen, but are expecting a few stellar performances between the injuries. We may still get that hopefully!

I hope Eastmond does come good. He will have a much happier time in a side which has more quality in it but I suspect he'd have benefitted from coming in a little earlier and having a full pre-season with the side etc.,

Eastmond will only play 2-3 games before an injury spell. We know that, but he's quality and we were on our knees when he became available....

I just hope the club hasn't pencilled Eastmond in as our only and best option at 6 for 2022. Another 6 months acclimatisation we might be getting there but that is a big investment in a player with so much risk at this end of their career.

We should sign another recognised 6 to replace Lui, and let there be some competition for places in the halves. We have a pack which can get on now (one or two signings away from being a very strong pack). The halves are the next link in the chain for me; because now we're getting up field for the first time in years we look absolutely clueless. Granted injuries have ravaged us - had Lui and Gale been fit throughout we might well be in top 4 now. We aren't far off but the club does need to make some tough decisions for next year.

Fascinated to see how we go against Wakey but to be honest we'll probably be undercooked still for a few more weeks.

It would be madness from the club if they do not go for a top 6 even if Eastmond does improve mainly because of his injury record.Eastmond can be used as cover for fullback and in the halves.I just dont see him kicking on and playing week in week out.We need to have settled halves i dont see that Eastmond.Dust the dust off the cheque book and go and try to sign Trueman.

There saying on the Wakey board that Johnstone has been stood down for another 4 weeks.
It`s a pity there`s no crowd at HQ tomorrow as it would have been a nice gesture for the Leeds fans to shout his name as a bit of moral support for Tom.

Only 17 no need to rushing his development.I'm sure over the nest couple of yeas we will see more and more of him.Him and Walters could be a mouthwatering second row partnership. Plus Edwards also to be in the mix.
