We can’t say if we’re in a worse position until we know how the team is going, it will be very interesting to see how we start the season, I’ll reserve judgement until then, we can have all the best coaching structure in the world but it means nowt if the team isn’t performing.

It still means there is unanswered questions regardless of how it is spun, and it goes against the statements they said they were doing previously.

Quote: Seth "I see on the day 3 footage from spain that James Webster is there.'"

It's worth pointing out that Featherstone have a pre-season friendly versus Valencia on Saturday at El Campo del Pantano, Villajoyosa. This is the same town, and I am fairly sure the same stadium, that Leeds are currently using for their warm-weather training camp, so he has probably just come out a day or two early before the Fev players leave to have a look at the potential DR players and/or help out. I'd say it's a good thing for both clubs in terms of consistency of coaching if Webster is involved with the likes of McLelland, A Sutcliffe etc (or whoever plays on DR), as was the case with Carr.

We don't know whether Carr did pick it up or was it Agar?

Agar was there before Carr came in. So the degree of probability is high. What it does say though as I repeat, is there is unanswered questions there, and that need answering this year.

That I agree with, and it's why I think the beginning part of this season will be really interesting, either in a good way or a bad way, rightly or wrongly this new team/coaching setup is going to get judged fairy early on I feel, a few losses early in the season and I guarantee there will be a 'for the live of God Agar out' thread.

FWIW I think we'll have a steady first half of the season with around a 50/50 win lose rate which should see us not battling for relegation again, and to be honest after the last few years, I'll be happy with that.

Don't see the fuss here. It's hardly like a loan signing is going to make or break our season. To be honest, at this point in the year I'm more worried about how well Leeming will fit in than whether or not Evans will get a game.

For me, the main priorities are the spine, the pack, and the backline, in that order. This is more or less reflected in club's recruitment in the off-season.

If these changes don't translate to improvements on the field then it might be time to revisit the coaching set-up, depending on the circumstances. But it is surely a case of sitting back, and waiting to see what is served up, at least for the majority of us without direct insights into the way the club is being run behind the scenes.

I think there needs to be a level of realism here.

Everyone agrees that the club has gone backwards in the last few years, regardless of the GF win.

Sinny has been in place in a role he had never held before for about 18 months. Agar in as head coach for about 6 months.

You don't turn a club around in that time.

They went for a new approach in Furner, it didn't work and they shipped him out. They have been steadily shipping players out but you can't just sack them, it takes time.

New, better players are being signed up, youth is coming through. Yes Evans is a stopgap but one or two stop gaps is fine, you just dont want a team of them.

Just chill out a bit. Support your team. People are working really hard for sure.

Quote: Marty Grrrrrrrrrr! "I repeat, how easy is it for an Australian to get a PNG passport? Can anybody get one? I want one, where do i apply?

Now that Blake Austin and Jackson Hastings have played for GB can they get a British passport? As Australians can they get PNG passports?

Its all getting too confusing for me, must be Sir Kev's fault.'"

I don't know either Marty but given RL is the national sport of PNG and Martin has just captained them to the greatest win in their history , I Reckon he has a better chance than we do.

Given that our next signing depends on it though, I've got little doubt that Lenaghan would have had it sorted a long time ago had it being happening at Wigan.

I have no doubt Sinfield only wants the very best for the club but the fact we could only sign Prior on the exit of Merrin and as Gotcha mentioned the commitment to a coaching model has not been fulfilled, despite being reiterated when Furner left, means the reality is not fully aligned to the PR and spin.

Sinfield / the club have said these things publicly and not fulfilled them. As a result they leave themselves open to question and criticism.

In Kev's defence, it’s likely that he’s had a fair bit of extra work on with Rob’s recent diagnosis.

I’m massively proud of how the club have responded to the news, it’s a real measure of what’s important.
