Why do we need Tui on the bench? Surely we can let the coach driver either stay with the bus or get a seat in the stands????

If you read my post I said I wouldn't have Tui in the squad at all but what I think will happen is that Tui is on the bench.

I don't mind being criticised but I like it to at least be for something I actually wrote.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic in general going forward after events this week.
Really sorry to see Kal end his Leeds career sooner than it should have been, but I think it was the right call. I'm happy with Walker and Dwyer signing on, and Mellor looks a reasonable addition.
Some of our academy prospects are future full England internationals if they get their attitude right and a bit of luck.
OF course we're not out of the woods yet, but I'm starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
We are going to have some serious strike in another year or two if we get some more key positions filled with quality.
The Leeds pack is just one or two quality signings away from being awesome once it matures. Trout, Walters, Smith, Merrin, Mellor, McConnell, Mustapha, maybe still Ward for back row. Oledski, Holroyd, Ava, +1 prop. Johnson at 9.
Hurrell, Newman, Broadbent for centre. Walker FB.
It will take a little time still but we're slowly putting together a side capable of winning the comp again IMO. More than that, a side which I believe will be enjoyable to watch.
One aggressive, intimidating, inspirational prop. One real high quality six (with a kicking game). Maybe another winger and I'm actually pretty happy with what we've got.

That said, in a good side just because you have the armband doesn't mean others shouldn't step up and be a positive influence. I'd like to see Merrin as our next captain based in what we have currently so the next few months are his (and anyone elses) audition.

Ferres is simply not good enough. If Watkins isn't one of the top two players in his position that doesn't mean we wedge him in somewhere else. The team selections are the epitomy of madness.

Donaldson is better than both of them, trout has looked good, heck, mustapha good do a job I'm sure.

I hate having to tolerate the club acknowledging how craap we are yet picking the exact same rubbish.
