WE WON THE GAME.

IT DOESNT MATTER SO STOP OVER ANALYSING IT.

WIN 3-4 MORE, WE STAY UP AND REGROUP FOR NEXT SEASON.

This board. FMaL.

He looks like an ideal player for a good side - so much time on the ball - his pass for the first try was real class

Yep, couldn't agree more.whoop the championship sides by 70 or eek home by 8 it doesn't matter just get the wins needed and get this dismal season done and hopefully start of a new era from there with a new coach to come in and sort us out.

Yes, we won, but what a turgid display, which was the Superleague side?

We have been terrible for ages now, never going to be suddenly playing champagne rugby at this point. London will give us a real shake next week down there and no, it won't be pretty.

Sutcliffe should be watching that lad closely, that's the kind of role he needs to be fulfilling.
He should be playing SL, I'm sure he will be in 2019, but not with TO. Although, I'd like to see them go up (not at Leeds' expense, obviously)

whenever leeds have played championship sides the first half tends to be close, toulouse offered very little in the second half and i expect it will be the same against the other championship teams
i think some players switched off for a while once we were ahead in the first half while others just made the wrong options at times
a win next week will put the pressure on KR and widnes who both might be 0 from 2 by then

Someone on here said Leeds would beat London by 40 next saturday.
I would be happy with the win by a last minute drop goal the way we are playing.
That performance was absolute garbage.
Did they put one planned move on today?

He could watch him for the rest of his playing career and he would never be able to play that way. I do not blame Sutcliffe who was not born with those rugby gifts we call class. I blame those with flawed judgement who kept picking him in a pivotal position despite his average skill set. He just cannot read a game and is unable to put others into space the way Ford did so many times today.

He seems to have built a reputation in junior grades by being bigger than the opposition rather than better. One good game against St Helens where he made a good break and a good kick has blinded so many who then overlooked his glaring lack of rugby class. He plays rugby by numbers and gets tackled in possession far too often and at best he can be cover for several positions as a reserve providing he is not a high cost

A perfect assessment of Golden boy , heaven knows why he isn't playing his trade at the likes of Widnes or. Fev . Only Williams at Wigan carries as much goodwill by his club . Not up to it and never will be .

I do not think I have ever seen a Leeds team put in such little effort, so much so that players couldn't even be bothered run down field after we have made a break.

If I had not already bought a season ticket, there is no way I would be paying to go to games for the rest of the year.

Moon was one of my favourite players of the past few seasons, but is fast undoing all his good work in my eyes, I really do not know if I can remember him fondly after he leaves on the back of phoning in his last dozen or so performances

He’s unfortunately appearing that way. He just doesn’t seem to excel in any area really. Even his running, which I always thought would be his greatest asset, only frightens the opposition on odd occasions when he either runs from deep or at an already broken line. His acceleration isn’t good enough to get him through when chiming in from full back either.

I think Peacock had it right last week when he said too many of the Leeds team aren’t willing to put themselves into a position where they’ll get hurt. And I’d put Sutcliffe in that category. His running is rarely with much intent and his pulling out of the tackle for one of Toulouse’s try today probably reinforced that for me.

He’s not the only one with those traits at the moment so I’m not meaning to single him out on that basis.

The only thing I would disagree with out of that is the commonly used phrase of building a reputation by been bigger in the juniors. He was never that good a junior to be fair, not compared to many others, never a player who looked destined for the top. He got a lucky break, and to be fair, those first few games took his chance. It’s how many chances he has had since, without one little bit further progression in his development that irks.
