No you can comment and slate the on field performance. The stuff on the other thread where people are trying to twist what he said last week into "he did no coaching at all last week and did all the coaching this week" etc. is daft.

Perhaps its the off the field stuff that is impacting the on the field performances? If the coach is having no impact what is the point of having him?

| Shambolic, absolutely shameful not one player can hold their head up and say, "I did my job last night".
How can a team (are we a team or a set of individuals who occasionally click?) not want to fight for second place, a home semi-final to qualify for the Grand Final. Wakefield wanted it more? I don't get it there's something seriously wrong. Goodbye JJB, good luck with the TV personality role that you seem destined to fulfill with "The pantomime idiot Simmons". Goodbye Ablett your desire has gone. The sooner Captain McGuire leaves the better, whoever thinks he has leadership qualities are sadly mistaken. If this type of performance had been churned out in the Peacock/Sinfield era there would have been some serious bollockings delivered behind the sticks. Our current leader says sweet FA because he knows he isn't providing anything himself. 4 of the "Golden generation" gone on a year or two too long, at least Burrow has accepted that retirement is the answer. Another waste of £42 and a painful visit to the God forsaken hole that is Belle Vue (or whatever it is called this week). Please someone condemn the place and give the team who out played us a decent stadium to play in.
Bring on the Saints let's have another thumping. Gluttons for punishment aren't we!!

So how does this work, it impacts this week but not last week, impacts the week of the SF but not the three weeks we beat Saints, Hull and Salford. Very random this apparent off field stuff.....oh maybe it's just sport and you have good days and bad ones. Maybe Wakey and Chester had untold off field issues that last two weeks, or maybe they just hit a bad patch.

In what way? 47 tackles and just the one miss, would say different.

| Trying to look at any positives from the game. Probably briscoe who seemed to have confidence back under the high ball. Also cuthbertson who tried valiantly all night without any support from his pedestrian fellow forwards. If we do manage to land a home play off spot, can't see any visiting side being unduly worried about meeting us.

Briscoe was the only real player to come out of that match with full credit. Parcell in defence, and Ward as usual gave it a shot, but too many players were simply woeful.

| Quote: Sal Paradise "Wakefield showed what they were - a pretty average SL side - they didn't win the game because they played fantastic - they played at their normal level Leeds simply failed to show up.
There will be apologists on here who will look to defend the indefensible but you simply cannot avoid how bad Leeds were. The idea that you can have Delaney, Ablett and JJB on the field at the same time is ludicrous yet I would be very surprised if the coach doesn't start those three next week with Ward in the centre. Moon at half doesn't work but the coach will persist with it. Non playing subs will continue - its all good we are second in SL so it must be OK.
Posters like Juan will defend the coach no matter how bad the performance - and according to Printer we have to not comment on how bad it was we have to only post positive stuff - not sure what positives you can take from a coaching and playing performance of that nature
