| Quote: Charlie Sheen "He needs to demand the ball more IMO, I know he's young but he's playing in one of the 3 most important positions in the game and he's drifting in and out of games. He also seems to be happy to just pass the ball on, when he's far more dangerous when he plays at the line.
He's a rangy half, he should go watch some footage of Leon Pryce in his Saints days because to me, that's whom he should be modelling his style on.'"
he needs to stop drifting in and out of games, and start modelling himself on a player who made a career out of drifting in and out of games?

| 5 wins out of 6 and i don't think we have hit our full potential at all so far so have to be happy. We certainly haven't put a full 80 minute performance in yet but when we do, the evidence so far suggests somebody is gonna get a hiding. Most impressive thing for me is that the guys seem to have started the year at a real high fitness level, that making a huge difference in the game today and in the 2 games over in Hull.

I know it's easy to say after the event, but even at 22-10 down, with 25 mins left I still thought we could pull it back because of the strong finishes and fitness we've shown.
Also fitness isn't one of Catalans stronger areas compared to most and they aren't exactly suited to playing protecting leads rugby, they constantly seem to never be too far away from throwing away a lead or momentum by doing something daft or poor. I think that's 161 points they've conceded in they last 4 games, people had them down as a threat to our top 4 chances but it's going to take a massive turnaround from them defensively to put themselves in contention as you won't the top 4 shipping the amount of points that they're doing currently.

| People had Catalans down for one reason, and one reason only, Carney. Surely the right time to judge Catalans is when he plays, not to mention the other injuries they have. Had Carney played tonight we would have comfortably got beat on that display.

Carney wasn't signed for his defensive capabilities though, so unless they're planning on winning 42-40 every week then they need to quickly address their defence before it's too late.

I'm not so sure. Catalans' were abysmal for 65 minutes of that game, they could barely complete a set.

Yes but our defence was embarrassing for the most part. Duruea tore us apart, so imagine a player like Carney at the side.
We just like others before us should just be grateful he wasn't playing against us. Like I said when he plays is the time to judge Catalans, as without him they are missing true quality.

Didn't he play against Hull last week? That didn't go too well for them.
We also missed Briscoe, Sinfield, Kylie and had no hooker for 42 minutes.
Only on Southstander can you be top of the league after winning away in France without 3-4 key players and still see fans moaning.

| Fantastic win tonight by the Rhinos in what is always a tricky away day fixture, and one that not many sides come away with a victory, Although i never thought that we would lose the game tonight and even when we were behind in the 2nd half by a couple of scores
Our youngsters are really starting to look like they are capable of taking our club forward during our so called transition period and both
Ward and Singleton look like absolute monsters and will be the mainstays of our pack for years to come, as was predicted by a few on here
Catalans have a cracking squad of players that should be performing much better and should be much higher up in the top 4/5 of the SL table, but things sadly are not working out for them thus far this season
IMO pressure will be placed firmly on the coaches shoulders in the coming weeks should results not improve

Catalans never seem to start the season well. Last year they had the excuse of their players being involved in the world cup and not having a full off season. They don't have that excuse this season, and the pressure is very much on LF.

| I said at the start of the year that Catalans were not contenders this season despite the great signing of Carney and having a good squad all round simply down to the coach not being good enough.Trent Robinson got the Catalans very close to OT the year he left and this squad is arguably better even without Carney, who they are unlucky to have injured it has to be said, but they still shouldn't be shipping 30 plus points a game.

| Up until going off Aiton was far and away the best player on the park, although I felt we still missed him in the second half burrow was still very good.
Ward and singleton again were very good. Ablett I thought wasn't too bad but is still not at the level he's vern at the last few seasons. I'd say the same about hally too, he's still working hard every week but he's got more errors creeping into his game of late.
Achurch didn't impress but he's very much a player that will get better given more minutes. Delaney you can see is getting there in regards match sharpness, improved again tonight.

| Performance was absolutely nothing to write home about, but you wonder how much that was hampered by the frankly bizarre decision to fly out this morning.
Had Catalans been a bit sharper, they would have come away with the result. Their own inability to hang onto the ball is what cost them in the long run, left them with way too much defending to do later in the game.
I can't see Fraysinnous lasting the season. That's 160 points conceded in their last four games, the sort of defensive form that saw London finish bottom last year.
