I have watched a lot of rugby both here and in Australia , I also played rugby until my late thirties, so I don't need sky commentators for my views and opinions. Sinfield does not always stand out on the field on of play ,but if you watch his overall game he is very effective. I don't think even you could deny he is a superb captain, and on to that his record of goal kicking performances . Many of which won major games for us, anyway if in doubt bear in mind the grand final wins and world club matches we have won with sinfield at the forefront .

Ive got to be honest Leeds are a fine team who will be there or thereabouts come the buisness end of the season and i for one wont get carried away. its a marathon not a sprint, fan wise yeah were not well supported but thats not the fault of the loyalies who do go i hear it all the time, games are won on the pitch not the stands although id love a full ground it aint gonna happen soon. As for broughy if he was more consistent then wow sinfields really good i dont know abojut world class my top leeds man is still rob burrow. Aye, possibly. I have to admit I was on the Carnegie Terrace, so didn't have the best view of the one replay - it was hard to tell who was where when the ball was collected - but very clear that players were well in front of the kicker.

Had it been televised, I'm pretty sure it would have gone to the VR.

Anyway, not that it matters too much - we still would have been comprehensively beaten.

Sinfield is a good captain and a good goal kicker as a Leeds fan as stated, does that make you the worlds best player, nah not even anywhere near the likes of Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk etc etc

As for Leeds fans if it is true and Leeds don't give a monkeys about the league I feel sorry for you shelling out every year for a season ticket to watch a team that isn't going to even try till it gets to play off footie time.

A neutral fan should buy a Giants season ticket for the first half of the season and a Rhinos season ticket for the 2nd half of the season.

I honestly can't believe this thread has turned into a crowd counting competition --- again. But then thats what we always get from fans of the opposition when we beat them. We know about our support and don't give a rats bottom - I would have happily stood on that terrace getting wet all on my lonesome- so don't you go worrying your empty heads on our behalf.
And in response to the person who commented that the private houses won't allow a roof- given the height of the current advertising hoardings which run all the way along at the back of the western terrace are the same height as a roof would be- I really don't see the issue.

And not only that there are plenty of Rhinos shirts in Dewsbury, so they even pull them in from outside Leeds. (glory supporters).

I dont mind Huddersfield beating us and I am pleased they stepped up after over 50 year's in the wilderness,but when SOME of them not all, come on here after they have beaten us and come out with the same old stuff and stay for ages it just gets tedious.
