| I ended up having to stand in the yellow walkway for half the game last year. Not a problem for me, but the stewards was constantly trying to manhandle us into the stand where there was no room which was causing a little agro.
It was cramped, but the atmosphere was electric because of that. I'm in the North Stand this year, but will be envious of those in the Southstand.

| Ben Thaler is the referee.
Interesting to note Viva Steve Ganson has been given Keefly? Wonder who he's upset.

| Well apparently the match commissioner thought he had a shocker at Bradford. Could be something to do with it? Maybe now they have more refs than games, they will start dropping them for poor performances.

| I see there is going to be a load of pre-match bull on Friday.
Why change now and start doing national anthems? Let's just get the players out on the paddock and get on with the football.
If they haven't needed national anthems before this year why start now?
And who has instigated this? Is it a ploy to freeze the Melbourne team before kick off? Very nice Gary.

Britain's Got Talent finalist Loveable Rogues will kick off a night of top class entertainment at Headingley Carnegie on Friday night when Leeds Rhinos take on Melbourne Storm in the Rugby League World Club Challenge. The London boy band became instant hits when they appeared on the ITV show last year and are currently on tour with pop sensational Olly Murs. As well the performance from the Loveable Rogues, for the first time the national anthems will be sung before the kick off of this global challenge class.
West End star Sophie Evans, who was runner up in the BBC Show 'Over the Rainbow', and has performed on stage as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, will perform the national anthems of Australia and Great Britain.
The game is set to be a 20,400 sell out with fans eager to be part of a historic night at Headingley Carnegie. The Rhinos are aiming to become the first ever team to retain the World title and the first British title to win four World Club Challenge trophies. Melbourne Storm could become the first Australian club to win three world titles having beaten St Helens in 2000 and the Rhinos in 2010.

| Why would any Kiwis be interested in the British or Australian anthems? If Keinhorst were to play shouldn't we also have Deutschlandlied?

| Anyway, I know it was just a half d training session but I noticed a couple of things. Melbourne were getting cut to shreds with the inside ball, the move we seem to have been banging away at every game this season. Their right side defence is weaker than their left, by quite a lot.
They do have at least 4 men running different angles at any one time though with ball in hand. We will do well to keep them out if they get a prolonged period on our line.
Cronk looked very sharp too. Looking forward to seeing him play on Friday.

The only choice really left to make presuming that Ablett goes to centre, with Watkins at FB, is who starts at Loose......Ward or Clarkson?
