| To me that looks as if this potential buyer has had a quick scan through the books and thought it's gone too far and isn't worth saving maybe!?!

| Can someone explain to me how if the Bulls do get liquidated and they form "newco" how can they be allowed to complete there fixtures for the remainder of the season?
A little confused.

| Don't know the fine detail but the RFL have said they'll allow any newco to complete their SL fixtures pending a review when the season finishes.
I think that's the way ahead rather than giving teams byes and the points and having to re-locate a full squad mid-season.

Who is going to be playing for this "newco"? If they're existing players then they'll still need their salaries paying, if those players have been sold the money will go directly to old creditors.
Even if "Bulls 2012" field a team of kids with a skeleton office staff they'll still need to find the basics of ground rent, player insurance, medical staff, transportation, electricity, payroll taxes and on and on and on. If season tickets are honoured, this will be without any discernable income. If not, then they have the gates from 4 home games (London and Widnes included) to pay for everything until October.
The RFL have simply not thought through their hopeful notion that Bradford could complete the season after liquidation.

So the newco has to be willing to burn £100-200k per month? In that case why would there even be a newco?

There wouldnt be any existing players, since once the existing club is liquidated they're free agents.
The RFL suggestion seems to imply that they believe that a Supporters Trust could be instantly created, funded and seemlessly take over the operation of a SL club during mid season. Its wishful thinking.

| Quote: Andy Gilder "Depends how you define "Odsal".
The fixtures and fittings such as the stands will, for the time being anyway, likely belong to Bradford Bulls Holdings Limited, so they can't sell those.
The land itself is owned by the Council, so they can't sell that either.
So which bits of "Odsal are they selling?
I define Odsal as the whole lot, the land and the buildings. The RFL own it all, by virtue of their leasehold interest.
They can sell the leasehold interest in the land and the buildings if they wish and have an interested party.

| I would think any newco will charge season ticket holders for matches though it could well be a reduced fee. eg half price. That way they'll get funds in. If they have 10,000 fans paying a tenner they will generate much needed revenue. They have no obligation to the fans other than a loyalty factor showing fans that they re prepared to discount their viewing may limit the number of discontented fans who would walk away. don't forget if the Bulls o the money paid by fans for season tickets goes as well with no further benefit for th fans.
For the RFL's part I can imagine a much reduced lease, at least for this year to allow the Newco to get going andtry to ensure the season is completed.
These two things will go a long way to supporting newco for the short term.
