I disagree, Castleford were just soft when Warrington were machines. Warrington WILL be just as good tonight as they were against Cas. Cas just got bullied and it was men against boys. Warrington won the collision, won the ruck and Castleford didn't seem to want to do anything about it. Leeds will man up tonight and fight fire with fire. Whether we have the technical ability to match Warrington is a different matter but JP, Kylie, JJB, Buderus won't roll over as easily as Cas did.

Unless we have an entirely outstanding team performance from 1 to 17, I think it'll be Wire by a couple of tries this time.'"
Didn't Pat Richards win it last year? i don't think Briers has ever won it mate.
Otherwise agree with you it will be a cracker

30th July 2010 at home to Wigan in Round 24. Sinfield and McGuire were the starting halves.

Burrow was on the bench - as implied in the answer to the question - but it was his second attempt at a comeback as he returned from a knee injury.
He had missed nine then came on as sub away at Hull KR, then missed the next two - then subbed again V Wigan before returning to the starting line-up for the remainder of the season.

| Apologies to Pat Richards.....it's been a long week!
Anyways ,no matter what the result is tonight, I think Briers is in with a great shout this year.

| How is it possible that Monaghan can pass the ball before Leeds 10m line and Briers catches it about 5m out and not one of the officials see it?
Also thought the second try came from a forward pass!

None of the officials *and* none of the commentators. That try would have been pulled back in an Under-7s charity match.
Thought the second one was ok, will watch it again.

| The briers try was oOK
I thought it looked forward but from the 'behind ' angle monaghsm was always in front of briers even when he caught it.
That's the momentum rule and is fine
