I unlike Wilko do not speak for everyone.

Wilko stated "most of the town is saying this that and the other" off the back of a few randoms, his evidence in fact was second hand info from his mate. He took the minority opinion and made it in his mind fact.

He then said "No Leeds fan wants Bluey sacked" or word to that effect, some do again a minority but he does not use apply the same principles to his like of debate that he applies to his Wigan statement. Is it that tough to understand?

He's right though, they are. I've never known a more arrogant bunch of fans in March.

to be fair that thread was started by a dillusional fan. It was one fan. The replies from the posters on that thread myself included stated how ridiculous it was and quickly put him in his place. All clubs have the odd fan like that it just so happened that ours reared his ugly head at that point. I do not remember a wigan fan agreeing with him. The thread was deleted and rightly so. Wigan fans in general are for once enjoying a good start to the season and if you regularly attend the wigan board most posters state how we want to gage how far we have come against the two best teams in the comp... yourselves and saints. nothing arrogant in that in fact it should be compliment when we are gaging our credentials against other teams to measure potential success.

You should look on the 2nd thread posted by TVOC above then. I have no problem with supporters bragging about there team doing well, but that was not the issue here, it was another poster trying to play this down and then knitting fog to try and turn it around, even with all the proof posted, rather than just saying ok you got me. He just ended up going around in circles.

Will the result, should you win, gauge how far you have come tonight?

i dont think this game will to be honest. I would have liked a full strength team from leeds and although some key players are back, will they be match fit/sharp. I think tonight is a lose/lose game for us. If we lose the usual banter will start mocking our good start to the season stating we cant beat the top sides...if we win then it will be a victory against an injury ridden, rusty leeds side. i think the easter period as whole will show what we have achieved and whether we are contenders or not. If we're top of the pile after next weekend i think we need to be taken seriously as contenders but to be honest i have sneaky feeling this might actually be the year of the wolf.

Wow at last someone with reason. You are contenders, you look good early doors and that sort of early season feel good factor can go a long way. Still not sure on the Wolves TBH as I get the feeling they still feel they can be beat. Strange game tonight for me, I go into every game feeling we can win, my glass is always half full, but I feel your home advantage may just be the edge. If this wigan side are the favourites for the title this league must be the worst since the SL era.

Leeds have got their third team out and are dominating this so called champion side at their own ground. If a full strength Leeds side meet this Wigan side at OT in October We will be 4 time champs no question.
