That's the one I think. I mentioned it too. At that stage of his career he had absolutely no speed - except speed of thought. IIRC he'd passed the ball along all game then chose just the right moment to dummy and run - did it so well that even at his slow-motion speed he was clean through and able to reach the full back before needing to pass.

I know this may be a bit early to think about a permanent memorial at HQ for JH but I sincerely hope a bit of thought is put into it and not a simple renaming of a bar or function suite.
Billy Bremner was arguably United's best ever servant and the statue on Elland Road is a fitting tribute and IMO it would be fitting if we could do something similar in memory of Holmesy.

The two biggest stands at the ground are currently awaiting replacement and neither is currently corporate sponsored. Either one would be a fitting memorial.

A statue of him dropping that goal in the 78 final, complete with tackler(s), would be fitting.

Indeed, at the end of his career he virtually alway passed the ball as he didn't want or need any further punishment, so on this one occasion they were all anticipating the pass and voila! TOUCHDOWN!
