| both defences struggled on crosses and Preston defensive players were huge.
possibly the wind was far worse than it looked.
at one point the flag on the corner post in the cheese wedge corner was touching the grass!!!

Yep agree. I’d like to see him get a few games there.. perhaps in the cup at home could be interesting.
Not too bad a result tonight at Leicester v Ipswich. They’re certainly not falling away Ipswich but we’re closing the gap.

| Have to say watching the game tonight I`m not sure how Leicester are so far ahead in this league.
Ipswich looked the better team to me and they keep snagging the points.

| leicester could, and should, have been out of sight at half time.
yet another bit of luck with the keeper spilling it.
if luck gets you promoted Ipswich will be champions!
also it's 2 more points pulled back

| There’s nothing between Leeds Leicester Southampton first 11 imo. I’d say Leicester have the best depth hence why better results over a longer period of games. Ipswich getting run of the ball no doubt but Leicester brought that on themselves last night, they lost control in midfield second half

| A lot of chat about Ben Godfrey to Leeds from Everton today on socials… he is leaving Everton according to Romano and a few clubs are in for him. Former Norwich player under Farke

| Agree Tad. Very tight game against an inform team. Solid and battled well and we had the best chances. Sounds like Gray and James injuries are ok and minor. We desperately need options at the back coming in, especially at RB. Firpo solid again too. All the back 4 were excellent and Gruev good again.

| It was tense but dont feel like they really troubled us and didnt think they were going to score. Agree with the above, also Rodon was a stand out, clears up a lot of mess and great in the air.
Norwich defended really well, good job we go the early goal.

| Agree, and i think Bamford is giving us more of a goal threat too, I'm not sure Rutter gets on the end of that last night if he was at 9.. im not saying Bamford is turning into prime Lineker by the way but he's giving us more options in final 3rd imo.

| thing with rutter at 10 is he loses the ball wide and there's a huge gap in the midfield, which norwich exploited a lot last night.
piroe is a miles better finisher than bamford. id like him to have a go at 9 on Saturday.

| Agree Tad, but for me and i think Farke, Piroe isn't an out and out 9, he likes to drop back a bit and he's not got the engine.. but i do agree, lets get him at 9 and on the end of things and see how it goes. Credit where credit due though to Bamford.

| I`ve always thought Bamford would come good
Seriously he`s getting the goals which you cannot knock scores every 1 in 4 chances he gets too
Bamford is certainly putting in the effort up front which maybe Piroe wouldn`t do.
Piroe shows more finesse in front of goal and I too would like to see him play upfront this Saturday.
Gray`s injury looked worse than James so fingers crossed he is ok.
We did look a little leggy in that second half which was understandable.
Whilst a win on Saturday would be nice I would be happy if we rest several key players.

| Doubt this will happen but wouldn`t mind a back 4 of Byram, Cresswell, Cooper and Shackleton.
Throw in the likes of Poveda, Anthony, Joffy, Josephs and Piroe and I wouldn`t complain.
I reckon a 2-1 win for Plymouth.
