| Quote: G1 "You don't think that the late game errors we've seen from Buderus are becoming an issue? Would they be an issue if they'd come from another player?
You don't think our hooker's inability to play for longer sustained periods is an issue? You don't think it will be an issue if McShane has to play longer to remedy this given McShane appears to be pretty decent going forward to a complete liability in defence?
Are these the biggest issues? Probably not, but they're still issues and we shouldn't ignore them because they concern a certain Mr Buderus.'"
I think the team has a host of issues - defensively we are vulnerable all over the line - I would suggest this is a far bigger issue than whether Buderus can play 40/50/60 minutes and whether McShane's tackling technique is suspect?
The sides continued indiscipline - this is now with three different coaches - is very serious problem which suggests it cannot be sorted without a change of personnel
Our inability to go forward up the middle and make ground and dominate other packs is much more of an issue IMO
We have a creative pair that blow hot and cold and we don't seem to have an ability to deliver consistently - Sinfield created two tries then through the ball behind Webb and then threw it over Watkins head!! Our lack of set attacking plays is a serious issue.
Of course much more serious issues are lost in your miopic view of the game - don't let the bigger picture get in the way of your agenda.

Ding! Agenda alert.
Yes, Sinfield made mistakes. Given he had the ball in his hands as much as anyone else in the entire game (with the exception of Buderus) that's only to be expected.
He may not feel as much pressure to try and make things happen if he didn't have a headless chicken as a half-back partner however. Time's up Rob - you've been worked out. Either come up with another trick or move on.

| All these alleged agendas ,player bias etc etc aside we have serious problems at the moment and we seem to go from the decent efforts against Hull/Wigan to the ridiculous against HKR/Quinns etc etc.
To be fair NO ONE is or should be beyond having their efforts either praised or criticised if we are to offer balanced opinions on performances both collectively and individually.
Trolls aside we all want to see the best from our team possible and at the moment we are'nt getting it from many or the team as a whole
It's only fair that G1 points out what Buderus has done error wise as it is when others point out what Burrow ,Senior ,hauraki Mcshane etc etc etc have done so there's no need for p!$$ing comps and save the put downs and snipes for tin pot trolls and Gledhill!!
We all have different opinions on the why's who's and wherefores lets share them ,discuss them and then agree that we're all wrong and GH knows best!!

| I think he had a pretty decent game, though accepted he did make a couple of mistakes near the end of the game. 2 weeks in a row. I agree with that. If it becomes more of a pattern, then we need to take some action. At the moment I'll take his decent performances with errors, over some of the others out there.

And you think Buderus doesn't feel the same pressure playing behind a set of forwards that get beat up every week!! Like Sinfield he is trying his best to overcome the ineptitude of some of his team mates.

Thank you Leicester. After mine, the first objective assessment of Buderus which recognises there may be a developing issue with his errors at games end.
Nobody else has come on and addressed that point. All they have sought to do is claim "agenda" or criticise other players.
Nobody has posted anything to take away the negative points I have made about Buderus on a thread which is about Buderus. It's not a thread about Sinfield, Burrow, Senior, Watkins or others. If I have a negative view on those players or which to critique a part of their performance I will do so. What that has to do with Buderus's penchant for giving away late game penalties and possession is beyond me. It's as if it's simply sacrilege to observe anything negative about the guy. It's quite pathetic.

Not that stats are the be all and end all (and are often wrong), but his stats are pretty good, with the penalty and erorr (at the end of the game) looking like his only discretions.
I also thought you saying that this being indicative of him not being able to do the full 80 was a load of rubbish. It was clear from my view (on the soft) he only did about 60 mins
I'd like to see whether there is a pattern there, or just coincidence over 2 matches. Either was 28 tackles with no misses is pretty good, on top of some very incisive runs from dummy half early doors (though they disappeared later on )

30 odd k posts and that's all you got pal? At a time like this please offer up something else than Kirke (oops Buderus !) bashing.
You're just getting boring! Please for god sake change the record.
You really need to seek some therapy as your fixation with Kirke (oops Buderus !) is unhealthy. Next you'll be stalking him

Agree. Buderus and Sinfield are our only hopes of anything being created at the moment. I've also stated elsewhere that poor old Burrow (although beyond criticism on defence and in spirit) is devoid of anything other than running sideways and uselss attempts at 'ducking under'. Oh for a Rangi Chase in his place !

| Whilst I would agree that in the last few weeks buderus has made some errors late in the match he has still been one of our better players. He may have even "won" us a point against Wigan as we could and probably would have conceeded

Maybe to most it isn't a real issue - given the effort he puts into the game and the level of involvement he is bound to make errors - in the same way the Sinfield does - as a % of the passes/tackles he makes the error count is pretty low. Something I would have thought was not beyond your comprehension.
Given that most on here see him having pretty good games and see him as a positive influence on the play they are prepared to accept errors are a part of the game at elite level. Against Wigan he saved a certain try - we must agree to differ, you are the only person on here who believes the defence was set and Wigan would not have scored - on Saturday the game was lost.
What is pathetic is your miopic view of Buderus - he is consistently in top 2/3 performers every week, you only have to look at the comments on this thread. Whilst Kirke may deserve your kicking, picking on Buderus does you no favours.

| I think the form of Buderus is the last of our problems at the mo. Whilst not at his best he's still streets ahead of most of our pack - I almost feel embarrassed for him sometimes! At least he brings a consistent 85% to the pitch, rather than the all or nothing ethic of some of his team mates
