| Quote: fanstanningley "Agree with all of the above especially about Dwyer you can't have a player who handles the ball more than anyone else who as you say takes the wrong option plus is probably up there with the worst passes from dummy half.A number nines main job is to give quick accurate ball to the first receiver this is where Dwyer is lacking.Johnson for mine is our best passer from dummy half.'"
Deyers defensive efforts have stood out in the last few weeks, I don’t think he should stay but fair play to the lad hes played well the last few weeks

| Great win from the team again with lots of talent missing as well. Great attitude & enthusiasm from the team. Austin had his best game for us to date controlled the game quite well. Dwyer was his usual self energetic. Oledzki & Smith put in a great shift & our younger players again were exceptional. Fair play to JJB he's got us back on track and hopefully Rohan Smith can take us further.

| For all the jokes about JJBs sermons, this upturn in attitude and moving forward with performance and some points doesn't happen without him. When he talks about the game and relationships (and doesn't over egg the religion and metephors) you can see why he's had an effect and im sure theres more that Rohan can add to JJBs role moving forward given the positive impact he's had.

| Great win last night, and was pleasing to see how much it meant to the boys.
Scary thought, but how good is Gannon going to be when he grows up?

| Quote: christopher "Agreed on martin and Thompson add dwyer to that aswell, all playing for contracts?
Martin imo deserves one'"
I agree. I'd extend Martin.
He's playing well.
And he's the best goal kicker in the league, which is priceless at times.

| Felt like the workload was shared around more evenly last night. Prior was more involved, Donaldson had a decent game, Thompson was as good as ive seen him, Martin, Simpson, Broadbent and Handley seemed to carry it forward quite a lot. Smith and O'Connor always work hard.
Thought Dwyer ran well out of dummy half.
KR was poor lets not deny that but our attitude, discipline and doggedness was far superior than most of the year and JJB and the team deserves credit for that.
Having Sinfield and Simpson defending together on the left worried me but they both defend well for kids and was both absolutely fantastic in that 2nd half. Think both will drop back to academy now and the players that come back better perform with the same spirit. Was with Jacks grandparents after the game and both was bursting with pride and they should be too.
Theres a lot of work ahead, the team MUST improve but last night was enjoyable and good to see the crowd really get behind the team last night. Something to really build on now.

As much as I criticise Dwyer think he deserves a new deal. Surely if he is forced to practice extra session on passing he can improve that area?
People talking about Johnson but needs a longer run injury free before we can decide…

I think he'll end up at Leigh.
You just know he's the type of player that will come back to haunt us!
But depends how Rohan sees the 9 options I guess.

| Great effort by the lads last night. Very proud of them. The attitude was first class and that was the biggest plus. Full credit to JJB for reinstalling some pride in wearing that shirt. He got ridiculed on here by several people which I thought was disrespectful. He’s a legend of this club and I’m chuffed he finished on a high.

| Well done JJB. I know we'll have players coming back for when Smith arrives, but its a big plus that the likes of Simpson, Sinfield and Broadbent have got experience on JJBs watch. You have to credit JJB for turning the team attitude around as well.

100% agree on this, i thought it was disrespectful too.
It’s bizarre, people moan when coaches just say the same things and are boring, and then JJN gets ridiculed for being different.
Funny how some were saying the young kids wouldn’t listen yo him or take him seriously, id suggest the effort were seeing shows the exact opposite.
His little stint as head coach will help him massively as assistant coach.

| Agree with the above comments on JJB. I think every performance has been an improvement on the week before since he took over. I'm glad he is staying and though it should be Smith's decision, on who his assistants are, I think and hope JJB is here for a long time to come.

| You could see that it meant a lot to everyone in that changing room after the game. I feel that maybe there was something behind the scenes because everyone seems much happier in and around the team
