So unless someone moves thats all quota gone.
If Connor comes in then that might be it, again unless anyone moves on.'"
The squads already looking more balanced with the two signings today

| I’ll be honest I don’t think the club are finished just yet.
They are preparing for the Blease and Oates podcast with LotPod at 7:30.

| If todays signings are both props, we need a big 2nd row and then Jake Connor will likely come in.
Sivo for Momo would be lovely.

Personally I don’t think we’ll bring a second row in. I think the club will go with Bentley/Gannon/McDonell as the main starting second row options.

| Unless we see Sangare released I think that could be the incomings in the forwards. We will have 6 props of which 2 could slot into the back row plus Gannon to add to what we had last year. Expect Sangare to be told he's 6th choice which might encourage him to look around.
Further recruitment in the backs will depend on somebody being released. If Mom goes possibly Sivo comes in along with Connor which feels like a very good window leaving us with a much better balanced squad

| 2 props in, finally. Kudos to BA/IB for getting it done first job.
Can we now ship out Sangare and replace him with Byrne to lock in our front row options?

| Next step has to be moving more players on (Sangare, Momirovski, etc.) then announcing Connor, Byrne and Sivo.

| Surely all these rumours regarding Connor means he should have been announced already or he just isn’t coming

| So just been speaking with my source and got this information.
The Keenan Palasia deal happened very quickly and out of the blue Leeds we're ready to take Tepai Moeroa but contacted Gold Coast regarding Palasia on Friday just gone and the deal for him was wrapped up pretty much Saturday evening hence why he was announced today so seems the club took the younger option as Palasia & Moeroa would have done the same job for our pack. So with Palasia & Jenkins confirmed that means all quota spots are taken for now.
Momirovski seems the most likely to me moved on if he can get another club or get a settlement payment to be released if that was to happen it seems the club would like to use that Quota spot on Maika Sivo but that deal can only happen if a quota spot opens up. Jake Connor is close to completing a 2 year deal I believe and could be announced this week he's been brought in as a utility back and has took a pay cut to join from Huddersfield.
I reckon our 2025 squad numbers could be something close to this
1. L.Miller (OQ)
2. New Winger
3. H.Newman
4. P.Momirovski (OQ)
5. A.Handley
6. B.Croft (OQ)
7. M.Frawley (OQ)
8. M.Oledzki
9. A.Ackers
10. T.Holroyd
11. J.Bentley
12. J.Mcdonnell
13. C.Smith
14. J.O'Connor
15. S.Lisone (OQ)
16. K.Palasia (OQ)
17. J.Connor
18. C.Jenkins (OQ)
19. J.Sangare
20. M.Gannon
21. J.Sinfield
22. A.Edgell
23. T.Nicholson-Watton
24. R.Lumb
25. R.Hall
26. N.McCormack
27. T.Warren
28. M.Simpson
29. B.Littlewood
30. J.Smith
( I reckon Ryan Hall may get the 25 shirt because it was his debut number for the club so he might want to finish in that as a tribute, If Sivo came in he'd get 2, Handley to get the 4 shirt & Hall would then take 5.)

Just following up from your post yesterday, is the Sivo deal all agreed in principle and just waiting to see if we can offload Momo before we officially announce/register the signing?
Going back to a post of yours from May..,…are we still interested in signing Bousquet from Catalans as a non-quota experienced prop? Or is that now dead in the water? I personally would prefer Bryne from Wigan if the rumours he could be available are true and try and offload Sangare which would leave us with an awesome looking prop rotation, probably second only to Wigan of;
Oledski
Palasia
Byrne
Lisone
Holroyd
Jenkins

| Happy with the signings, though neither are going to be that senior leader we need in the forwards.

As far as I'm aware nothing has been officially agreed with Sivo we have just offered him a 2 Yr deal whether he's accepted it or not I'm not too sure yet. But any deal would depend on opening a quota spot.
It wasn't me who linked us with Bousquet but he doesn't seem to be the type of middle the club are trying to recruit hence why Palasia & Jenkins have been brought in.
