| I have often defended Myler but he is indefensible now, another awful showing, he's not got the kicking game of an amateur player. We need a 6 and 7 next year as a priority. I would give Hastings that deal even with an NRL clause.

| Quote: Gotcha "We looked miles better when Sutcliffe went off. Mistake we made is we should have moved Lolohea up at that point when in their half. Instead we kept going the one way to where Myler was. All we had to do was move Newman to fullback and Watkins back to centre. We would have won that.'"
Thought we were even worse with Sutcliffe off but agree Lolohea in the halves would have been a far smarter option.

| Well where to start with that one, Kendall was appallingly all game blatant penalties he allowed Wigan to get away with was shambolic and then punishing us with errors from Wigan's cheating, he is definitely the worst official in super league imo not saying he lost us the game tonight but he certainly didn't help. Also I really don't know why we haven't adopted rugby unions approach for video replay/ referee decisions even stevie wonder could see Clubb's try shouldn't have been awarded so when the replay comes up that he's knocked on before the line the video ref should then stand in and say that's no try and award the correct decision, in this instance it hasn't mattered Wigan already won the game before the Clubb try but what if that try actually was the match winning try they'd be an uproar. This is one of many reasons why our sport will stay small because governing bodies can't put there heads together to make rules with common sense in them. But anyway we still have so much **** and waste of space players in our squad, Ferres surely knows he's not getting a contract extension and if he does I have no hope for this team. Myler has to be the worst attacking kicker in Rugby League never mind Super League we need an organising half NOW and ship Myler on let Mclelland and Sutcliffe partner a class half back and I'm sure we will see results go our way, Lolohea is very hot and cold has brain farts like trying to go down the touchline from a kick return but then can make a break from a kick return with good footwork they may be hope for him if he get fully fit and spends time working on his weaknesses but his attitude to do it is probably questionable, Also we've seen last week and this week that Dwyer isn't a 80 minute hooker I love his work ethic but tires he is best used as an impact hooker when he's running at tired defences. There were glimpses in tonight's performance that were positive such and Seumanufagai's go forward and metres, Merrin's work lead and effort, Briscoe and Handley working hard to return the ball, but like I say there's too many garbage players who are letting the team down, hopefully we scrape through this year and we have a massive overhaul of the squad and hopefully we will be back competing in 2020.

We might need to be relegated for that to happen..

| Furner's team could score points for fun but couldn't defend.
Agar's team can defend all of a sudden but now look clueless in attack.
It doesn't look good with Saints up next, but hopefully the challenge will inspire some kind of miracle performance. I'm guessing Saints won't rest players against us.

| Watkins looks to be leaving at the end of this month too so we could be stuck with Ferres in the BR even if Ward is fit

| Not putting on Oledzki seemed nuts. Agree with Exeter we are now playing turgid rubbish with the ball again. Reckon that is worst Wigan side I have seen since they went down. I think it’s now quite likely we will be relegated.
I think this is the most talentless pair of regular half. Backs I have ever seen at Leeds in 50 years, we are rudderless and letting Watkins go and potentially Parcell seems insane with 11 games to go.
Pushing Watkins out whilst offering Ferres a deal is a reflection of an organisation that has lost the plot.
Temporary coach with no assistant it’s a mess.

Relegation talk is still too early IMO, where has it been said Ferres has been offered a deal?

| Can't see Ferres being offered a deal. He is on big money 4 year deal and has not paid back even a slice of that.He will be one ear marked for the chop since last summer.

| Clueless with the ball, last tackle plays are at junior level. Myler's attacking kicks, even when under no pressure, are abysmal. He is ok at finding touch to slow the game down, but that is the extent of his kicking game.
In Agar's defence we have at least got some steel and backbone in defence. There does seem to be a team spirit and resilience that never appeared under Furner.

| I’m not that disappointed to be honest, I’m more frustrated than disappointed.
I think we are a much better team than 4/5 weeks ago when everyone knew we were soft as.
We at least appear relatively difficult to break down now. That is significant progress.
I’ve moved from thinking we need to change most of the team to seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.
I agree with the consensus on Lolohea, Myler, Sutcliffe and Ferres. I’ve often defended Myler however tonight was indefensible. You can’t kick like that that often in a game. 1 bad kick yes. Not that many. And it totally relieved the pressure we’d worked hard to apply to Wigan.
Sutcliffe offered nothing. I don’t think we were any better really with Smith on but we certainly weren’t any worse.
Lolohea offered nothing attacking wise from full back and was weak again defensively. Out of position several times and as I’ve said previously he wimped out of taking a hit in the first half.
Ferres, his stats probably look ok but Christ he has the turning circle of the Titanic. For a second rower he shouldn’t have been so easily bypassed for Wigan’s try in the 2nd half and it was frankly embarrassing to see him rounded by a prop that I reckon I could catch.
I’m also going to criticise Dwyer a bit here. Im going to preface the criticism by saying his enthusiasm and effort is obviously great, however...it’s not always directed well enough. A couple of times he went flying out of the line trying to solve an issue that wasn’t his to solve and left a massive gap, that in the 2nd half Wigan ran through to score.
Also his schizophrenic acting half play causes us issues in attack.
For me, if we can change 3/4 players I think we’ll be a much better team and look much more potent in attack. The forwards have pulled their socks up and are doing their bit. It’s the spine that let us down today in my opinion.
So for the next game I’d go with:
1. Walker - Golding if Walker not fit
2. Briscoe
3. Newman
4. Hurrell
5. Handley
6. McLelland
7. Myler - we have no better option
8. Singleton - much better today imo!
9. Parcell
10. Cuthbertson
11. Watkins
12. Donaldson - Ward when back fit
13. Merrin
14. Dwyer
15. Ava
16. Oledzki
17. Ferres - Donaldson when Ward fit
I don’t see how McLelland could be any worse than Sutcliffe or Lolohea and it would at least be experience for him.
I’d keep Dwyer in the team but use him almost like a Burrow type impact hooker for 15/20 mins per game

We’re not great but we’re comfortably better then our 2005 and 2006 sides. I’d say the 2005 side that got beat 70-0 at your place the week before our 75-0 defeat at Saints would take some beating to that award.
Two pretty poor sides tonight for sure but an enjoyable game to watch all the same.
