| Strong games from Kylie ,Singleton and Achurch I also thought Robbie Ward had a good debut & showed he can handle this level.
Overall too many errors ,a poor ref and absolute turd opposition it was a win we move on.

| Singletons best games this season have all been when starting games. He probably won't start next week with peacock back against wire, but I'd like to see one of Kylie or JP start off the bench a few times this year to give Singo more mins, and to keep both Kylie and JP fresh going into the business end of the season.
Robbie ward I thought looked good for a debut, looks like he can run and tackle. I kno it's only one game but already looks better than hood did when he came into the first team. Not sure if he'll retain his place for next week, but I hope he does

| Some Ward's distribution was an issue in the first half, which aside from fatigue was probably the reason he was substituted. However, a good knock on debut for a young player.
What do people expect from Sutcliffe, great stand offs are not made over night, they need to learn their trade. Expecting him to guide a team around is laughable. Schofield, Lockyer, Daley, Holmes, Kenny and even Lewis were all well into their twenties before they could manage a game.

Not expecting him to come on and be Darren Lockyer out there, but he's getting decent minutes out there and with Sinfield having to play 9 I would've hoped to see GLIMPSES of taking charge. Even when I watched the friendly vs Hunslet at the start of the year made up largely of academy lads he didn't take any control in that regards and most was left up to Ben White.

| With regards to Sutcliffe it's clear that whenever he does get minutes in the halves and not BR that Sinfield and McGuire are still running the show and calling the plays.

| I agree with most of the earlier comments.
Watkins did look tired/injured towards the end. It showed particularly when he made a break from one of their (multitudinous) errors & rather than sprint for the line he tried to put Briscoe (I think) through.
I wondered if he was still suffering side effects from last week's illness since he ended up on his haunches.
Hull have absolutely no creativity, they were simply dreadful.
Given the deluge before the game I thought the pitch was in remarkable condition a testament to the new drainage system.

The shocking thing is, that was our best performance for a few weeks!
If bradford win their appeal, we could go down. Forget about the 8, we are absolute cack.

His distribution was fantastic. Not sure what you were watching. You might have got mixed up with McGuire going into dummy half.
As for Sutcliffe, sorry but compare to McGuire and Sinfield when first in side and younger, Holroyd, even Murrell. All looked better in that role than what has been shown so far from him for that role. His best performances have come in the pack, but for at Cas. Maybe a valid point about not giving him chance to manage play, maybe the reason for him not having chance to show yet, so maybe more to come. I just don't see why these predictions of long term stand off yet.

| On another note, anyone know the lad who was 18th man last night? Couldn't tell the face at all. He was training at start also. Guessing he is close to a call up.

Josh Walters.
I know someone asked on here a few days ago about why was Ward shirt 29 and who had the 28 shirt. Someone asked on twitter last night who was number 28 and the club replied Walters so he must be close to a game.

| Just seen the Bulls team for their game against Catalans. Baldwinson is on the bench but no place for Tonks.

His distribution was quick but his passes were slightly inaccurate and it makes a difference.
I am comparing him to McGuire and Sinfield, according to feck wits posting on here at the time McGuire was a good support player and would never make a classic strand off.
Horrors maybe but, he never fulfilled his potential. Murrell? Whatever you're smoking, post the details.

He wasn't exactly gifted in the first place! Well as an RL player at any rate!
