At a coffee shop?

Those with a long memory for ephemera will recall my observation of Stuart Fielden buying a coffee maker at the Leeds branch of Debenhams.
He is therefore in a position to make his own coffee.

Mind you, that was when there was discussion about whether he was en-route for Oz and I opined that it was unlikely as I didn't think the warranty would remain valid abroad.
And that must have been ages ago, he was still at Bradford then and could still play a bit.

Anyway, Purdham is going home to Cumberland to run the farm.

I have a cooker/wife which can readily produce meals at home. I still like to venture out to another establishment (like the curry house or kebab shop, for instance) once in a while. Perhaps Mr Fielden feels the same about coffee?

You want good coffee, get yourself to Auckland (NZ). Most of the chains in the UK only show the bean to the water, and use water too hot...as to the earlier comment on ropey coffee in France - c'est pas vrai!

Hard to see that being too economical during the working day from here to be honest.
