| How you can single Leon Pryce out from that game is beyond me. He worked his butt off but there was nothing Saints could do to break the line down. Pryce was no worse than any of the other Saints players, bar Cunningham.

First Challenge cup final in years that won't feature one of the big 5...I'm really looking forward to it.'"
5?
Anyway, we reckon it's Hull KR -v- Cas in the 80's for the last one without one of the 'big' teams.

Yep that was meant to be big 4 - fat fingers + laptop combination (I'm suprised it didn't say 45)

| Fairy snuff.
And once again today, Garnder proved that doing anything other than latching onto the end of a good passing move and falling two feet over the line is beyond his abilities.

Only picked on poor defenceless Leon because I've been looking for him since October 2008 and he's still not turned up
(hit a nerve did I?)
PS Since someone else will say it if I don't...you're back from the game quick

| Beating St Helens in the rain is nothing special but beating them in the sun is very special.
Well done Huddersfield

| the saints team from the last couple of years would have hammered the giants, given the amount of ball the giants dropped today.
leeds are not the only side to have gone backwards this season

| It was good of the beeb showing us three replays oif him knocking the ball dead, thereby missing the resulting scrum and dropped ball from Huddersfield.
If he'd been anywhere hear scoring I could understand.
And I don't normally like them showing players too often, but I'll forgive them today for giving piublicitiy to Sean Long's latest attempt at looking 'wacky'. He is such a pillock.

disagree
hudds defence was superb and they produced some fantastic set moves and clinical finishing to take their chances.
Saints from the past few years would have lost just like they did today.

oh that was Sean Long I was trying to figure out why they were interviewing one of those annoying town centre charity collectors.
Also good to see that Eastmond has been learning from Pryce when it looks like you are going to lose start limping and try and get taken off

I disagree with you. We would have passed out wide and Longy would have killed you with kicking, possibly with Wilkin and Pryce chipping in.
Leeds and Saints have both slipped back. That's clear to anyone watching both teams play this season. Where Leeds have the advantage over us is they still have the same core team and the same coach as they did last season so I think they'll still pull off the Grand Final. We, however, will not because we have a team that hasn't been the same for two matches together this season either due to Potter's piddling about or injuries. We are going to get nothing this year which is difficult to take but most Saints' fans expectations are far lower now than they were at the beginning of the season.
Today Huddersfield were great. They deserved their win, without doubt, and I was congratulating their fans after the match. However, they dropped some ball and even at the outset of this season, there is no way we would have let them get away with that. Which is another reason why Huddersfield wouldn't have won this match if it had been played during the last three seasons.
