| Great recruitment makes perfect wobt cost anything cover a coulle of knocks just what we need. Lets not forget Sinfield has a tough job & he's working wonders re building us with class & squad fillers.

| Anybody who seriously believed the lines of giving youngsters a chance are seriously gullible individuals.
However, I did say when we were linked with Thomson that we might as well have just signed Ferres back for a while. Harrison to be fair is possibly worth a gamble, he has something.

| Don’t know much about Harrison but we may aswell use the link with Fetherstone.
Ferres suprised me but I suppose he Knows the squad so will hopefully slot in, I think some are underestimating how tough the back end of the season will be in the squad

No relegation so no pressure whatsoever , its another useless tecruit by our DOR & Hetherington.
Ferres wasn't good enough 3yrs ago & now with the game even faster he'll be a penalty machine on steroids & a passenger.
Its pathetic.

It’s not about pressure of relegation its about how many games are crammed into s short space of time, would I have loaned Ferres, no, but its another body and one that knows the squad.

| would rather have watkins back to play in the second row, way more athletic and would suit the faster game imo. Ferres is a penalty machine

| How can you loan players from a league that's been shut down? Fev even opted out of the Autumn tournament, so these two won't even have been training.... unless they've been doing Joe Wicks!

Watkins would be a good shout for the rest of the season.
Watkins wouldn’t come on a months loan like Ferress though.

| Ferres must have pics of the management team doing something they shouldnt, cant believe the waste of space is back again...Whatever length of time or capacity it may be.
Harrison, im interested in, looks a good player, i hope he gets a go to see if he can handle the step up.
Real shame that Fevs Brad Day is still coming back from a serious injury, best backrower in the champ for me, would of liked to see him have a stint with us.

This might surprise people but Fev's players in interviews during lockdown were glowing in their praise of Ferres for his impact off the field, very much a leader and plenty of them see him as a future coach. There's no way he would have been brought in unless Webster thought he could make a positive impact. He's clearly not a SL-level player these days but in a strange year such as this he could probably fill in for a game or two and as I say i think he'll have been brought in as much for his veteran experience off the field.
Harrison is Karl's son and is a tall, rangy forward who has done a good job for Fev both at edge back row and in the middle. He's come on a lot since we signed him from Batley, it's hard to say how well he'll go in SL because there's such a gap between being a good Championship player and being a SL starter but I bet he won't let you down. He's the type of player that tends to intrigue SL coaches because of his height (see Ormondroyd, but Harrison is a better player than Ormondroyd).
Yes Brad Day wouldn't be ready to play yet following his injury, I agree that he's arguably the best back row in the Championship, he's tremendously strong but probably just lacks the size SL teams are looking for in an edge back row. Day's probably the better player of the two at the moment but Harrison has more potential to develop into a SL player, if that makes sense.
Anyway, after years of reading on forums that Fev are too dependent on Leeds to be considered as a potential SL team, it's nice to see the boot is on the other foot!
