| We are due to play Saints 15 Aug - the week before the Challenge Cup Final. Assuming Saints get past Halifax do you think they will play a weakened team against us like they did yesterday?

| Twice Saints have effectively gifted points to London, frankly a disgrace and no way to run a (alledgedly) pro sport competition!

| In answer to the OP original question, no I don't think they'll rest anybody against us as it's 10 days between playing us and the Challenge cup Final.
In all honesty, I'm fine with Saints fielding whoever they want, we've done it a few times, but surely the bigger question to be asked would be.....
Would Saints have fielded the same team if they were playing anybody else other than the team currently sitting last on the ladder.
No,I don't think they would.
They can't be seen to be giving competition points away to teams around them in the league.
They didn't have to rest 11 players, and if they'd have only rested a couple they would now be 12 points clear with 6 games remaining.
Let's face it, nobody's going to be helping us out of this mess.

| cant moan when we've done it a few times. I'd have done the same on the plastic pitch with a good lead in first place

| Over the last few games some teams will start clocking off. Luck of the draw who plays who, although I reckon more teams will want to have a dig at us than London.
The fact we're in this mess is all our own doing though. If we'd played harder all year we'd probably have another 2 or 3 wins.

| We should have taken 2 points minimum from the two home games against the Hull teams. We still have plenty of games at home where you would fancy us but we have to start getting the job done now.
In answer to the OP i do think Saints will rest a few against us but not as many as yesterday although i don't have any issues whatsoever Saints can do as they please they have already sown up part 1 of the treble attempt and you can't blame them for keeping players fresh for potentially 3 massive games.

| St. Helens are one win away from theoretically claiming top spot, or will if Warrington lose to Catalan. They have nothing to lose then and they won’t risk players to a ban or injury so they will rest players without a doubt against us, whether they rest as many as they did v London remains to be seen.

| They can do what they want as far as Im concerned, same as my feelings when they played London at the weekend.
We have done the same in the past and we'll do it again in the future most likely.

| Would think that we will not make many changes to the squad for the game v St. Helens but be surprised if Singleton isn’t banned:
Walker
Briscoe Newman Hurrell Handley
Lui Myler
Seumanufagai Lunt Cuthbertson
Ferres Martin
Merrin
Dwyer Sutcliffe/Donaldson/Ward/Peteru/Oledzki

Change Ferres for Ward and that’s a good one.
