He's certainly a gobsh!!e, but he's proving rather effective - he's getting under the skin of teams and putting them off their game, very Bailey-esq.
I'd like to think our team wouldn't be so stupid as to fall for it - it's the oldest trick in the book, he s old manning teams. And very similar to Bailey in his later years, he's not really got that much else in his locker.
My money is on Minichedders for first try - he's the sort of backrower we're desperately lacking, and the sort we always seem to struggle to contain.

I disagree, I would put it nearer to Albert than Bailey. And in terms of quality he could walk straight into our team. He is much better than given credit for. Although I give you, an annoying sod. |

Don't get me wrong, I think he's decent standard and versatile. And most importantly he has that thing sadly lacking in too many players nowadays, a bit of mongrel and 'win at all costs' mentality - he'll put his all in every game, it's a personal battle every week. There's lots I like about his character as a rugby player and I'd have him at Leeds 100%. Thats being said, we should be good enough to not get drawn in by his antics.
What I didn't like was Thaler getting in on the act and warning Hull a couple of tines about his behaviour - I didn't think Connor did anything wrong last night, yeah he was chirpy, but it's up to the Wire players to ignore it. If they aren't professional enough to deal with it, Thaler shouldn't be helping them out by trying to stop him winding them up further. |
