I've just seen that we've signed Peteru Nathaniel from the Gold Coast titans on a 3 year deal. Apparently he's a 6 foot 5 ball handling prop. Does anyone know much about him?

How come we didn't get a heads up on this signing by the ITK crowd?

On the plus side he's a big guy who runs hard and has a bit of an offload game. On the downside he's relatively inexperienced for his age (Not a deal breaker, both Garbutt and Sene-Lefao were similar) and he doesn't do big minutes, defence like most men his size can be a bit boom or bust.

It's nice to see us go back to Signing Kiwis as well.

I'm not entirely sure, but would this put us over the quota and as such we can expect one of our other overseas players to leave, maybe Delaney or Galloway?

He'll be a real impact sub I think next year and will provide good yards and be able to give the likes of cuthbertson and singleton a rest when they need it.

Maybe he's the replacement for Garbutt after his and McDermott's continuous falling outs?

Someone has to go there has to be a limit to how many props you can have and keep the squad balanced - maybe constructive dismissal for Garbutt. I make that 8 in a squad of 24 i.e. A third

A good signing given the current market constraints from NRL to Super League.

Still relatively young, always seems to have plenty of impact on the defensive line - he's one of those players who steams it in at full pace - something we've beeen lacking.

A good solid signing in an area where we needed to improve, adds a bit of something we don't currently have.
