Very very sad news indeed.

Words are meaningless at a time like this - they are incapable of expressing the depth of the grief the family must be experiencing at this moment.

Anyone attending a RL game this weekend it has been suggested that a minutes applause is done on the 17th minute for Ronan.

Such a sadness going through my mind, thoughts are with the family and friends. Especially the players that were involved in the tackle, it is not their fault and I hope they get the full support they need.

As a parent I'm totally gutted for his family.

Such a tragedy. No one should die playing a game. It puts the sport and all our arguments and bickering into perspective.

I hope his family, teammates and the opposition get all the support they need.

I hope there's a minutes silence at all games this weekend.
