| Really hope we can hang on to him.
I've been replaying some of our 2015 games - winning ones, naturally -, and some of his better performances easily surpassed some of Briscoe and Halls' lesser ones.
With the news of BJB's newest move to Wakey, I only hope we can find some way to keep him involved, even if it means McDermott having to change his tried and tested policy of limited rotation. He's simply too good a prospect to be allowed to drift away for want of opportunity.

| As he fills out I think he'll end up in the centres, and could well replace Moon should he not want a new deal.
Ryan Jones is also a superb prospect who me may struggle to find a place for.

I think he will be highly thought of by the coaching staff after his displays this year.I mean, at 19 he can't have expected to get so much game time but it has really shown he is up to the job.Any injuries in the back line and he gets a game, and its a long hard season so i reckon he will get more than enough games to be kept happy. Same goes for Golding, he needs more exposure next year.

| Do people on here think that Cameron Smith will be getting game time in 2016 or is it a year too soon?

Year too soon, for me anyway.
It's a big leap to go from playing Under 16s to Super League. Might be good for him to go out and get some experience in Championship One, get used to playing against people who are bigger than he is.

He would have been playing on boxing day had he not broke his leg the other month.
It's a tough one, as in order to sign him he is part of the first team squad for salary cap purposes. So maybe the club will want to utilize players who form part of the camp.
Personally I think he is up to it, but judging by previous years I can't seem them throwing a 16 year old in.

| As for Cameron Smith, just take it a step at a time.
See how he goes in the u19's
If that goes well, try Hunslet. Yes they're a division lower but we're talking about a 17 year old here.
Their's a few steps he has to play at first before thinking first team.

| Handley will get his opportunities. Maybe not as many as this year.
I see his long term future at centre.

实事求是!: |
|
| Why do people see Hanley's long term future at centre?
He is similiar to Ryan Hall when he first started in 2007. Once he get's the experience under his belt and fills out, he'll make a fine winger.
Or is that long term the only way he'll play for us is if he plays in the centre because the wing spots are tied up?

| Handley has shown his talents and has potential to go further but he does need to work on his defence which is not good enough yet.

| Agree with others sure Handley will get games next year. Also agree with the printer - cameron smith should be not be playing next year. Step from u16 to u19 is big enough at that age. Let him develop for a bit especially as currently injured

Have said it before: if he's good enough he's old enough. John Holmes started playing in the first team at 16; he didn't turn out too bad did he? Similarly Sir Kev.
Handley deserves to be starting next season: he is good enough. How long is Moon contracted for? If Sutciffe misses the begining of the season I would def try Moon at SO alongside McGuire, with Handley slotted straight in at LC. Keeping Briscoe at RW makes more sense to complememt Hall and Hardaker in starting off the sets as those match winning extra forwards.

Problem is on this occasion, the current 1 to 5 are more than good enough too.

If Sutty misses the start of the season we'll see Burrow/Mags or Lilley and Mags in the HB's before Moon moves infield.
Also Keinhorst will play Centre before Handley it's the obvious order of things and although AH had a very good break through season he will need to bide his time somewhat.
Re-Cameron Smith after another leg break i think he should be purely in the u19's for 2016 with a view to a short term loan to NL2 later in the year.
