Things don't seem to be showing signs of improvement at Salford - Chase has been suspended now........

A friend of mine who does work on a couple of the Rhinos ex-players cars said that he was told 2 weeks ago that there 3 players at Salford had failed drug tests (Not the performance enhancing kind, more in line with what Hock was banned for). If this is all linked, it could get a lot worse before the seasons end!

Watch this space i guess...........

Whatever the outcome, that club is a shambles and a laughing stock.

For all Koukash's "investment", they haven't progressed either on the field or off it. Indeed in some respects they've gone backwards at a rate of knots.

I sounded a warning when he got involved that if he couldn't buy his way to short-term success he would disappear. I'd suggest that point isn't too far away.

And surprise surprise Iestyn Harris wasn't off "sick" after all.

Their loss to Bradford makes life interesting. A good chance they'll end up in 4th or 5th and that playoff game. Would be quite amusing if with Chase not playing they lost to Halifax away this weekend, then they'd really be in trouble.

They are obviously not fit to be a super league club, and better off if another club got that opportunity. He has an owner really needs the reality check of playing Championship rugby.

With regards the O/P I would be very much surprised if Rangi had failed a drugs test. Can't see that at all.

He did spend a few years at Cas so perhaps he just slept with a teammates wife.

I'm not sure whether Salford are worse off under Koukash than they would be without him because at least Salford are in existence, but it's sort of like being asked if you'd rather be shot or stabbed.

Yeah one is better than the other but neither are what you'd want to happen.

Koukash is a joke and desperately needs some humility and professionalism. He needs to hire a good managerial team and run Salford properly without his bizarre input, especially on the playing side.

I also agree at the moment that Leigh, even with their arrogance and "bizarre Beaumont", would appear a better club than Salford.

I also reckon Wakefield will pull off another miracle escape from relegation.

Is Noble still pursuing legal action against Salford?

The way coaches and players have left Salford isn't seen anywhere else in the rugby world at their volume. It's wrong there from the top down.

And yet, Koukash continues to attract the likes of Noble and Tim Sheens to the club.

Must be one hell of a salesman.

Money talks.

They only go for the money. Then they realise it isn't worth the money and leave.

The more bad stories that come out of the club though the tougher it'll be for the money to talk. I know RL is a short career and you've got to make what money you can but surely some of the smarter and in demand people will sidestep that circus.

Or take the money knowing they'll be paid off early.
