Our recent form has left me a little worried, but I can't wait for Saturday. Maybe I'm from a generation that regarded Cup games as the highlight of the season, but I'm well up for it at the weekend. I've a feeling the crowd will be disappointing, but the one's that go will create a decent atmosphere for a game that will have added edge due the mutual dislike between players and fans. I've found Udders fans quite disrespectful down the years, and they are quickly becoming one of my most despised opponents. Staying at home and watching the goggle box was never an option for me, these are the games that fire the passion and although the crowd may be reminiscent of the 80's, I think it will be an old time fiery atmosphere to boot. If you're going , enjoy.

It's a road bump in the grand scheme of the season. A win is a win, if we lose I won't be shedding any tears.

I also have no problem with Huddersfield. They're a physical side, and they have some needle about them. But I like that. I also like the coach. As for the fans, they're RL fans: basically a good bunch, but most of them have a chip on their shoulder. Like everyone else's really!

I think it could be a really good game. Hudds are in the better form, and if it was at theirs I'd make them favourites. As it is, I think it's really tough to call. If we're going to win we need to control the ruck better as Brough will destroy any team if he gets time and space. On the other hand if we can get the ball moving and get good ptb's, I think we're very hard to handle out wide. T'other week one half went each way, and we ended up with a draw. Probably be close again this week.

The Cup used to be the big comp all the big crowds were expected no matter who played. in a previous life many many years ago when Huddersfield were winning trophies and getting to finals and attracting good crowds Huddersfield fans were really decent ,even in the early years of their demise they came across as ok.Now it's like a different generation.There does seem however a new rivalry is springing up between the two clubs especially with them having our number recently .I wish I could be there to see how Leeds deal with them this time,but I would swap an early exit for a highly succesful SL season
