A reliable source suggests GH has written to every club suggesting Todd Carney should be banned from SL.

If this is true he has gone down in my estimation:

1. This competition desperately needs genuine class players
2. The competition needs a strong a strong French team
3. What is his motivation - the good of the game or the good of his finances!!

Come on Gary - Carney coming is a great thing for SL - you need to up your game and spending.

Depends how good they are in Carney's case - bloody good - head and shoulders above anything currently trotting round in SL. This competition needs quality urgently.

Im firmly in the camp of NRL loss is our gain and we need players with the obvious talents Carney has in our competition desperately and he is in his prime to boot.Others have come over with tarnished reps and done well here with no problem.Joel Monaghan immediately springs to mind, im sure the Wolves fans were happy their CEO took a punt there.

Rugby league is a family game for local people theres nothing for him here.

We can never have too many players who can p1$$ in their own mouth. It's something we just don't coach often enough at junior level in our game.

Is France really the best place for him to go though? When he asks a simple question and someone responds "Oui Oui" he might think they're taking the mick out of him.
