Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brian McDermott has named an unchanged 19 man squad for this Thursday trip to title rivals Castleford Tigers.
Ben Jones-Bishop and Stevie Ward are added to the 17 who beat Wigan last Friday at Headingley Carnegie.
The squad in full is
If Ward is fit i would be tempted to give him a chance from the bench and rest one of the other forwards. Tough on BJB but i would be surpised if the back 5 changes.

| I wouldn't change any of the back 5 for this one.
The one thing we need above anything is yardage down there, and kick returns will be important.
It is a smaller ground with everything on top of you, and space is limited. So yardage will be a key in determining the winners.
Funny enough, after complaining about our kicking game for last two weeks, which I still do not believe has been part of any game plan, I hope we actually repeat that method at this ground. Cas do not have a good fullback, and getting a kick high and a chase under it, could cause plenty problems for Cas.

| This is the third match in a row that I feel genuinely excited about. Cas will be a bit hurt from the weekend and have a really good coach and look a really good unit this year. The natives will be fired up, should be a good travelling support. Big game.

Then I realised they're good client's I'd like to keep so I'll take 'em somewhere posh and record the game.

| I listened to the Cas/Hudds game and sounded like they played well (and could've won had Shenton not messed up a late chance).
It did however sound like they were out on their feet at the end and with a short turnaround that could be a crucial factor. They've scored a fair few points against the top teams this year, but also conceded a bit. If we do the basics well and make them have to work to get away from their own half making them fatigued for the final quarter and I think we'll rack up a few scores late in the game to clinch it.

I went to the game, and it is the 4th time I have being to their games this year. They were out on their feet at the end on Sunday, and indeed could have won but for Shenton seeing the glory.
They don't stop, but do have brain farts and wrong choices. But they keep going, all effort. It is the offloading and never say die attack where they are coming out on top this year. They are not any stronger than others from a defensive point of view, but by attacking strong they negate that weakness.
If Leeds stop the offloads, and our defence is very strong this year, then it kind of nullifies where the Cas attack make it tick.

I'd have that 17 too but with McDermott's brilliant plan ( god did I say that? ) of starting with Clarkson at DH and Sutcliffe off the bench.
I would like to see Ward at LF some part of game also.....

| Apparently Hall will be rested for the Wigan game with BJB coming in. I'd imagine Ward may come in for another forward for similar reasons.
Either way. Both teams will have strong line ups. And should be a fantastic advert for the sport.

I would generally agree with this. Cas currently have the best attack in the league, Leeds are second only by 8 points, but you get the point. It might not be a 'top of the table' clash but it's the best attack vs the best defence. Should be a cracker.

I'd not totally disagree. We still throw silly balls. Have poor last tackle options that cost us against Saints.
I think to say we were out on our feet Sunday is a massive overreaction though. We brought Mariano off the bench (having 2 of our forwards missing already) and he was knocked straight out so we were a sub short, and got back from 28-16 down to have the chance to win the game with 5 minutes to go.
So far this year. Lynch, Huby and Millington have been getting us in the good positions to attack from. And we have dangerous backs, obviously Carney and Shenton our main output.
I'd suggest winning the forward battle will dictate who wins the game.

Hall was injured against Wigan.
I think he would be a huge loss for this particular game. As I said earlier, yardage will be the key in this one.

| Hall took a few knocks against Wigan and got a fair bit of treatment. Makes sense to keep him fresh with BJB kicking his heels.

| If Hall's got some wear and tear, then give him a week off. It's a long turnaround until the next game to get himself sorted.
Otherwise, I'd be tempted to go same again. Clarkson's defence up the middle will be needed early doors, and Sinfield can always slide into dummy half later in the game.

| If we go with BJB for Hall then I'd rather we keep Briscoe on the right vs Carney and not switch him over to the left like last time.
