| Morgan Smith in under 19's?
I really hope we develop this kid like his potential should be developed. Try at some point to get him some exposure, then let him learn, and keep doing this. Please do not hold him back until 20. He is far too good for that. If we can get him four or five first team chances by end of 2015 he will really kick on this kid.

| Going to be interesting to see how we juggle 1-5 if all fit and on form.
Can't imagine Briscoe or BJB will be happy to sit on the sidelines.
Equally I hope we don't start putting a winger on the bench just for the sake of giving game time to them all.

Too true.... But given our coach has a habit of only using 3 subs or only giving the 4th 10 minutes or so, then perhaps a winger on the bench might not be the hindrance it would be for all other clubs?
You never know he might end up trying the St Hilaire/Harris move where he'll move Zak up into the halves during games, switch BJB to full back and bring Briscoe on on the wing. Sounds crazy but it is McDermott we're talking about

| What can we read about the futures of ZH and BJB now their numbers have been confirmed as the same as last season? I know previously people were saying it would speak volumes about what might end up happening to them?
You may be either delighted / disgusted / uninterested to know that this is my first post here. I have learnt more about the team (and unknown background politics) in a few weeks in here than I ever knew in my years combined following the Rhinos. Admittedly until the last year or so I mainly watched in television, but I have immersed myself the last 12 months.
Anyway, hello to all!

| I'm surprised that Briscoe wasn't given the no.2 jersey. I would still rather see (& expect to see) Briscoe starting on the wing instead of BJB.
I guess it all depends on Hardaker toeing the party line.
For his & our sake I hope he puts his recent misdemeanours behind him & has a really great season as our & England's full back.

| After the fall out when Bedsy was given the 9 shirt off Diskin then IMO Briscoe was never ever going to get the 2 shirt unless BJB had left to join Warrington as was rumoured by many people 'in the know'

Briscoe is not to BJB what Buderus was to Diskin though.

| Would Hardaker now be classed as "Club Trained" rather than "Federation Trained"? He's been here 3 years now but not sure if he just misses out on age.

| Thought Ben White had gone to try his luck in Australia?
Hopeful that people won't put too much stall in the results of the Under 19s next year, given a lot of these lads are going to be in their first year of potentially a three year cycle.
No doubt we'll have our resident Wiganer on here to tell us that the Leeds Academy is dying at some point in the season though.

Which is why I asked the question about Morgan Smith, if really under 19's. I am pretty certain that Frosties has his wrong date of birth on the first page, as I believe he is only 15 years old but already played under 16's and international academy, and from all the feedback I get, is debatably the best kid of his age in the country. This kid could really be something special.

| I had the wrong year for Morgan Smith, however he confirmed to me he is training with the U19s and could play this year.

| Looking forward to the next signing from those playing in this years World Cup. Or is it the signing coming from GH's visit to Australia? Either way let's hope it is a barnstorming prop or playmaker half back we all know we need.
