Who cares what hes done, if anything. Nobody died. Cant deny his comitment when he plays. He should be no 1 for england with tomkins moved to 6.

If such a thing were true, I'd sack him from the squad. He's been my favourite Leeds player this year and it would be painful to see something so clearly, completely moronic; but if you do that straight after being involved in a huge, by RL standards, scandal for doing the exact same thing, you deserve everything you get. Tomkins was told he was fullback before the tournament began, and unless he was injured it was his spot. Zak was well aware of that, and is with the squad ready to take a chance if it arises.

McNamara is starting to get a little tiresome with his attitude to answering questions from the press, however bland or ridiculous they may be its part of his job to speak to the press and especially when dealing with the TV where there is no disguising the antagonism, he should be professional at all times instead of in "Kevin the Teenager" mode.

What are you expecting playing Tomkins at 6? England RL play to as structure this is proved that Chase at Castleford plays very much off the cuff where as when in a England shirt he has a set structure to play. IMO if we want to see the best of Tomkins keep him at Fullback where he can link into the line. We've had the same 6 and 7 for a few years now. Can't see it changing in the middle of a tournament.

Whether Hardaker was going to play or not is irrelevant. If true, he would have gone out on the pi[is[/is just days after being disciplined for going out on the pi[is[/is. I can't think of any reason not to dump him from the squad for that.
