On a social website I've seen many comments from Leeds fans saying how overrated Pan Faces brother in law is.

Am I the only who thinks he's a very good player & best '13' in the League?

No, he's a high class player. Not as good as his brother-in-law but the best LF in SL at the moment.

No, you're not. I rate O'Loughlin massively, because he's one of those players you see on the opposition's teamsheet and think 'Oh crap', and no matter how good people say Tomkins is, O'Loughlin always brings so much more to the table for Wigan.

I think he's the best 13 in the league because he's the best overall player in the league-he combines brute strength, excellent defence and destructive running style with guile, the hands of a halfback and pace.

If he misses the World Cup, England will suffer. Massively.

Don't think he should be on the Man of Steel short list though due to only playing about half the season.

I know it's fashionable to say nice things about the odd Wigan player just to prove you're not a one eyed one club supporter but honestly, I don't think he's that great a player and I don't think he's even what I would call a 13. Having said that, there are almost no players who I would say are a real 13 anymore. He's not crap and he's better than most, and the goons seem to struggle without him so I guess he's important for whatever they do.
I also think if you look back over the last several years he has been hammered by posters on this board so I'm wary about this sudden love in.

Has to be a shoe in for England, using game time against lesser nations to get his fitness back. Would be top notch in NRL as he is over here. Down side is that he is injured again at play off time. In the last few years he seemed to shake off his injuries.

According to stats he's played 15 times for Wigan in league. To me he shouldn't be in the shortlist for man of Steel. If he was made of Steel he wouldn't have missed as many games. But he's a quality player though.

I don't think he is anything higher than above average. Vastly vastly over rated player. Doubt he would even have a got a dig without Farrells influence at the start.

If he is best 13 then it show a distinct lack of alternatives. Sinfield by an absolute mile IMO.
