Doesn't surprise me at all, as I said above before you posted. Rhinos will probably be paying his salary to coach the Union operation, and we promote from within and save on new salary. |

I've been around a little while, but I'm not privvy to the business dealings of the club. What makes you think that the Rhinos will be paying for the Carnegie head coach? (not saying you're wrong, I just have no idea how the club runs these things)
Some naiive fringe questions occur too actually. For instance, do coaching salaries in any way count on the salary cap? I assume not. So, given that both clubs are owned by the same parent group, where does the Rhinos head coach's salary come from? Leeds Rhinos or Leeds Rugby? At what levels are the businesses separate and at what levels is it one entity, in terms of assets and personnel? Anybody know? |

Seems strange not to bring anyone in straight away imo i like what Plume has done with the U19's but would he get as big a say as Lowes did with Mc??
Just one of a few recent bizzare calls by GH imho.

I'd have thought Plume to be the next in line unless we look outside the club. Didnt Hetherington try to get Dunemann as assistant when we got rid of Franny?
I suppose it depends if the club want Plume to continue on in the academy, maybe a combination of both roles for the time being?
