We wanted him before he signed for Bradford, also he is a good young prop and I think that's exactly what we need.

I'm surprised you don't know who he is, seeing as he played in both England Academy internationals against the Aussie Schoolboys in the summer...

I watched the England Academy games and i thought McAvoy was really disappointing, he didn't look big enough to make it as a front rower.
He had a few injuries last season though so maybe that effected his form, hopefully he improves next year.

I have never heard of him but also didn't realise he was an academy product either. Retrospectively I guess your comments would have been to recruit him for the U19s where I assumed you meant 1st grade. Also I tend not to monitor other academy sides, guess thats a job for Bob Pickles.

I was a big fan of the U20s this season and watched all but one, but I will need to get my finger out as I only know about half of the U19s squad now.

I've seen Liam play a couple games for the Bulls and he had some decent games tbf although i would have personally have preferred to have retained Dan Smith

On a side note if we have signed Liam McAvoy i hope that Loz hasn't been signed by mistake because they are doppelgangers
