| I know it's too late for next year but does anyone favour the return of the blue & yellow quarters? It's what we wore in the old days and is much more preferable to the retro yellow V. In my opinion only two teams should have a V - Saints and Swinton. It would be something different compared with the traditional hoop.
When the 2013 kit is unveiled I hope it's not a horrible West Brom shade of blue or all white. The best kits of recent years were the 2004 all blue, 2005 traditional hoop and similar kit of 2008/09.
I say this cos the club shop have announced a quartered shirt with bits from various kits. Not seen it but I can imagine how yucky it is.
And does anyone buy the tacky pink shirt? Does pink as a cause have any influence??
Mind you look at some early Super League kits from 1995/96/97? Was Leeds kit the worst?

Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army.
Rudge: Where? India?

| For me they can change the kit completely for all I care.
Tradition has no place in modern branded sports entertainment. I hate to see the old Leds Rugby jerseys, such an awful image to attract global audiences. If you are not a born and bred Leeds fan, you are not going to buy one of those.
I would also like the club to go with this years charity shirt (the green one) for the alternative kit next year. Looked nice.

If you mean this one, then god no, its awful!
We dont and havent had a V shirt for a few seasons now since 2006.
The shirt just released is a special edition featuring the home shirt on the top half, the bottom is split between the pink away and green help for heroes shirt. Its and end of season championship keepsake that we seem to have introduced at the end of every season. Its not gonna be played in.
Ive not got the pink and steel shirt myself but looking around I think its been a big seller.

| Yeah the 95 quartered one was a return to tradition but not in a nice way. It could be done better now.
Must be the material but that shirt makes you sweat even in winter.

86.jpg Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.
But you’ve got to keep believing.:86.jpg |

Out of interest what tradition of blue and amber (not yellow) quarters was it a return to?
The 2006 V shirt was the worst I've ever seen, much worse than the '96 one which gets derided on here. Both met with the on-field fates they deserved.

I agree. Worst shirt by a long way. The stars is tacky, and a bit nasty looking, but the 2006 V shirt was just awful from top to bottom

| Queue a certain know it all to come on here and tell us exactly what the kits going to be as he's seen the negatives he removed form Kevin Sinfields black wheelie bin.
If I could have any shirt, for a home shirt I'd have this years shirt but instead of the navy I'd have a royal blue. However I'd have white shorts and not blue shorts. No piping either, just plain white shorts.
As for the away shirt, i've had both the pink shirts and I dont mind them. They sell well especially with the women and i am aware next season we'll have a pink shirt again. However I like the idea of a green shirt as the one off charity one this year looked pretty good. Plus green is made from blue and yellow (or amber). Failing that an away shirt like McGuires testimonal shirt would be nice. I miss the white away shirts

That would be fine, but we had something very similar just a few years back, so I'm not convinced it would be a massive seller.

| Oh I know that, but its just what I would love to have.
Thinking about the away shirt though I'd like it to be a colour of a local charity. So for instance it could be burgundy for Mencap. Then each shirt could be sold for a a couple of quid extra with all those extra quids going to that charity. I know I wouldnt mind paying a couple of quid extra if its going to a good cause.
