| At some point between now & the start of next year Kevin will complete this milestone. What a great decision by the club to give him the captaincy at such a young age. And what a wonderful 10 years it has been.
There aren't enough words to sum up what a great leader he has been and how much he has meant to the club.
Absolute legend, and now standing on his own as greatest Leeds greatest IMHO

| Quite simply we're honured to be able to watch this team and, in particular, this captain.
Honestly right up there with Billy Bremner in my book (and I can't offer higher praise than that)

| Yes although I'm disappointed for Wire to lose tonight you have to take your hat off to Sinfield, what a great leader he is, he delivers every time in the crunch games. His control and confidence in himself and his team is fantastic.
If Sinfield was a quarterback in the NFL with this record, of playoff and Superbowl wins, he would be regarded as the best of all time no argument.

The comparison to an NFL QB is a very good one. In big games he leads the team to victory from the front so often. Never won Man of Steel which I'm not as outraged about as most Leeds fans (most years there have obviously been better players - 2005 I'm not sure about) but if there was a Man of the decade award I doubt there's be many other candidates

Yes in American sports the fans place much more emphasis on who performs in big games, as playoffs are ingrained in part of their culture which isn't really the case here hence all the complaining about rugby league being a sport in crisis because the team who finished 5th won the Grand Final etc
Sinfield has been a huge driver of Leeds winning so many titles, without Sinfield they would not have won 6 IMO, more like 2 or 3, you guys can tell me if you think thats unfair on Leeds. Also he has not been riding on a team that is utterly dominant, whilst he has always had quality players round him, a lot of Leeds titles they have been underdogs of some sort. Again if this was NFL the American fans would have regarded this as an enormous achievement to be able to lift his team up to dominate in a pretty competitive market at the top.
One other point to make about Sinfield. A lot of players that are highly touted as juniors, disappoint to some degree. Sinfield had a lot of pressure on him because we had all heard about him as a junior. I remember in the late 1990s, he was described as "the best schoolboy player in history". He has delivered on his reputation year after year and just got better.

| It's an honour to be a Leeds fan with Sir Kevin as captain. Greatest Leeds player of all time. 6 titles. No one can match that. A quite astonishing feat.
