| If you do not pass the ball you will struggle to score. We have some very talented backs in Watkins, Hardaker & Hall. Might as well play with 13 forwards if we do not pass it.

| That's what happens when you concede penalties, possession and field position.

| Thought we got well and truly mugged, trinity slowed our play the ball down so
our forward attack was slow and predictable. One or two decisions went against
Us but after the wigan semi match we can't complain. Also it looked like trinity
Wanted it more than us. We will have to reduce our penalty count.
All in all the best team won, looks like we will probably finish fifth.

Not a bad place to finish if memory serves
Can't help but feel you need a new prop that isn't called Kyle Amor, and Brent Webb was a sad waste of a shirt again, dunno what's up with him this season but he's a far cry from the player who could devastate teams. Sinfield was poor on the kicking tee but his attacking kick selection was masterful as was Hall in finishing (admittedly we can't defend kicks so you maybe should have done that all night).
Good luck for the cup final and the rest of the season - has to be said, we've had two very intriguing league games between Wakey and Leeds this year.

I can think of a simpler solution.
Kylie Leuluai has been great for us, and he's having a decent season, but we should ask who offers more to the club going forward, Leuluai at 34 or Amor at 25? And if we can't answer that then then repeat the question with Kirke and Moore.

Definitely Leuluai that Amor's rubbish. Best leave him where he is.

| Our lack of structure was alarming. We went one up for the whole evening and got exactly what we deserved. Well done Wakey, a good outfit IMHO.

| One of the most annoying things out of tonight was the fact we even managed to play our way back into the game and then went and fecked it up again!!

| Signing Kyle Amor back on will only result in more of what's being complained about on this thread......the one man stuff doesn't suit ya's.....you don't want him back...
We showed our hand and give the ball plenty of air and invited you into another thrill a minute attacking game........for once we decided to bring our defensive game to the party....!.....your defense around the ruck was non existant and should be a big worry....we murdered you there time after time.....would like to see the stats on clean breaks tonight.......we seemed to break the line plenty....
Good luck in the cup final....bring it home to WY....

| The Wakey forwards just kept on rolling forward.....our lot were very much second best (again).
Leeds have some exciting young players in Ward, Watkins (great first half combination try), Hardaker, Hall etc ...Keinhorst looks like he could be another. Without those forwards though .......

| Kyle Amor? Nah, he looked pretty shakey against fart-town. Tell you what whinos, try Grant Millington from c*s, Bryn Hargreaves from Bradford, Andy Lynch from Hull FC or Eorl Crabtree from fart-town if you need a new prop. I'm sure Scott Taylor from Hull KR may be interested as well.

| I didnt think our forwards were too bad to be honest, we seemed to make ground easy enough. The problem, IMO, is in defence. As mentioned our defence around the ruck was very poor both from markers and A defenders. Also there seems to be too many times where we end up with a prop defending next to another prop, as evidenced by Andy Raleigh skipping in between Peacock & Leuluai.
Our poor defence led to Wakey making too many breaks so, despite scrambling back pretty well, we lost field position. Add on some stupid penalties, a couple of dodgy ones, too many knock-ons and applying little pressure to Wakey's line when we did have field position and it's no wonder we struggled.
In the end, Wakey won because they played better than we did.
