What is the best way to get to wembley for the day normally stay over at family just outside London but they are away. Just wondering what other people do looking for cheapest as 4 adults are travelling but not the megabus or national express coach as they take too long. Thanks for any help.

Book your train tickets about six weeks ago ...Then again, I go every year anyway.
Assuming you're not wanting to go by coach full stop, there are several options ... You can forget a cheap deal on East Coast, as they'll have all gone by now.
You might get something via East Midlands trains either from Sheffield or even East Midlands Parkway
Going further afield, I know at least one Leeds fan that went via Warwick Parkway, driving down there and parking up, then getting a train direct to Wembley Stadium Station (yes, there is one and it isn't the Tube Station)
You might also want to think about Grand Central, who have a service through West Yorkshire (NB - Not Leeds) and also a direct non-stop train from York to London.

According to Club website coach travel has been reduced to £30 each - which is the same as Rugger. I when with Rugger last year and it was a nightmare, - We did not get out of the stadium car park until 6pm, the toilets were flooded on the way home, and the smell of urine for 240+ miles is not good for anyones health, never mind the kids near the back.

| Fall out with the wife so that our holiday can be cancelled. 
Gutted I'll miss this one: don't think Leeds will let this opportunity to slip again. I'm expecting a famous victory.
The good thing about RL's low profile is I should hopefully be able to avoid the result until I get to watch the recorded match once back home.  |
