Good. This is the experience he needs that for some reason he's not able to get at Leeds. Hopefully he'll be retained by us at the end of the season if his form continues, provided bridges haven't been burnt with Headingley.

This is the worry. Don't know all the ins and outs but from the outside looking in it could be a case of bridges burned.

Hooker IMO is a problem area for us. Mcshane appears not to have been given much chance and hasn't masively impressed when played.
Hood appears to have a lot of potential and one for the future. Lunt only on loan but TBH had a good debut and hasn't lived up to that for me.

Burrow not sure he is a hooker. When he came off bench last year played more SH in my view.

Some difficult decisions ahead

Only had 5 minute break and we looked shaky without him, can we keep him.

Glad for the kid just goes to show what he can do when given some proper game time and chance to express himself

The Wakefield board have Kyle Amor as their MoM today. Also, Luke Burgess played pretty well this weekend.

So Lunt isn't Buderus Mk2 then? After his debut it seemed a lot of people wanted him signing for life immediately.

Someone I know who actually went to the game said that Ah Van got MoM.
Not checked on the Widnes site to verify , but I have read that McShane put through the kick for Cross to score.

That's true, but it could have been any from Hanbury, Cahill, McShane or Cross IMO.

McShane gave us some much needed control and speed around the ruck and we did look a little lost when he went off for a rest.

Interesting that a Widnes fan said he gave them 'plent of zip' at the PTB and he was slated for being too slow at Leeds although everytime he was accused of this it was playing in a team with a beaten pack, It just goes to show how some fans are eager to point the finger at a younger player with limited opportunities rather than seasoned professionals who constantly underperform.

I expect more of these threads and no doubts there'll be plenty who point out when he's not been so good.
For me i stand by what i said earlier this could really bite us because imo he's got stacks of potential to be a good 9 for us.
