@JasonLaCanfora - For those wondering about the brit rugby player who @JRRickert may bring to the NFL. I hear it's Kevin Sinfield of Leeds Rhinos'"

| Haha I remember one year them training with an NFL team when over in Jacksonville. Sinfield was interviewed about it and said he'd love to try gridiron one day. This could well happen!!!

| Apparently it's not Sinfield it's some American that plays yawnion, IMO Sinfield doesn't have a strong enough leg for the NFL (they want cannon legs nowadays) and would have to spend a lot of time on a teams practice squad if he was to get on a roster at all. Why would he give up what he has with us to sit on a practice squad getting paid nowhere near what he is now? Amazing kicker but not an NFL kicker IMO.

| The bizarre and usually baseless rumours from the OP are getting tiresome. Ever heard the story of the boy who cried wolf? Clue: it has nothing to do with speculation about players signing for Warrington, although might apply in certain circumstances.

| TBF to Frosties the 2 tweets he has posted at the top are from very repectable sources when it comes to NFL news, especially Jason La Canfora (he's ok for a Leeds United fan ) , doesn't mean it's true though I guess

| Does this mean Kevin Sinfield has played his last game for Leeds?
Frosties would get on very well with the brethren that congregate at school gates.

The original tweet does say "British" rugby kicker...
The rookie base minimum is something like $375,000 dollars a season if you make the 53-man roster. IMO that's well in excess of what he'll be earning at Leeds.

Fair do's somehow I missed that
Maybe Johnny Wilkinson needs a few quid for sitting on IR every year.....
Sinfield wouldn't make the roster though IMO, if anything he would spend a while on a practice squad being payed peanuts, and as you know as an NFL fan a kicker has no job security whatsoever unless he is damn good one, miss a kick or 2 on a Sunday and a lot of the time you will be looking for a new job on Monday morning!
I would be his biggest fan if it happened and obviously would want him to do well but I just don't see it and would prefer him to stay at Leeds and continue winning trophies as our greatest captain ever

Fits the bill exactly IMO. Bristish (as opposed to English), excellent kicker, in need of work, and probably a change of scenary
