Having just finished "The Bald Truth", Keith Seniors autobigraphy, what is your opinion on whether a "pay-per-play" deal should still be on the table, or be withdrawn? (after what Keith has said about the current management)

I haven't read the book but he did start to sound Schoey when it was announced he was departing the club.
I will also say i wouldn't of offered him any sort of deal because i thought he was done as our 1st choice centre at the end of 2010.

I think a pay-per-play deal is a good option for all parties concerned.

Regardless of his comments towards the club I think it'd be daft offering him a new deal. We have to use our potential and Hardacker has done really well. Also we have to let Watkins prove himself in the position this year, he has the potential to be a great centre. Also we have back up in Ablett and Delaney so I just dont see the point in having senior

Granted Hardaker and Watkins look good and let's hope they both stay injury free.BUT if not and we need to use Delaney and Ablett we lose a fair bit of pace in the centres, although defencively we shore up a bit.

I think the "pay as you play" deal was not only a good option for the club but also a good public relations exercise following the release of keefs book. They would be the only winners in this deal as far as I can see. It would be too much of a chance for Senior to take up the offer, if a year long deal came up elsewhere it would surely be his prefered option. I'm sure there's plenty of clubs keeping their powder dry waiting to see the extent of his recovery.

He was finished at elite level even before his injury - his defence was a joke and his pace had gone. How anyone can think he will be even that good after such a serious injury defies common sense.

Best to say goodbye and move on - we have Lee Smith to cover for injuries

Agreed, I saw him in his final game against Quins and he was being given a good going over by Tony Clubb.

I have just finished the book and could not find ANY comments the mangemnet could take objection to? prehaps I'm just thick skinned, when he wrote of his relationship with garwy he was always complimentary (being a yorkshireman my self being called tight is a compliment) so if he can't find another club would certainly offer pay as u play contract.

With Watkins and Hardaker as first choice centres, and Smith as first choice backup, along with Ablett and Delaney, what's the point in signing a 35 year old centre on any kind of deal?

Been a great player for Leeds, with the emphasis on been.

From what has been said previous especially by his team mates! Keith is the tightest bloke on earth.

senior was poor but so were his team mates at the time. perhaps he may have improved, as his team mates did, as the season progressed is open to conjecture.
personally i think either way it was time to move on. keef has been a pleasure to watch and i hope he goes on to his 600 game target but its time for the youngsters to have a go
