Just got back online this afternoon after a nice few days in Spain, unfortunately, on Thursday evening when we got back to our flat on Grove Road in LS6 it was completely empty. Some scumbags crowbarred open our bedroom window, deadlocked the front door and helped themselves to everything. I'm absolutely gutted.

Please keep an eye out for anyone trying to flog the following stuff, and please let me know so I can inform WYP:

55-inch LG 3D telly (yes I know, 55-inch. I don't know how they managed it either.) No remote.

Silver 15-inch MacBook Pro, no power lead.
Bose bluetooth speaker with poer lead, but no remote.

They took my old huge JD bottle copper jar, and 2 sets of car keys too, but thankfully not the car.

I know just what you're going through. It happened to us when we went to Wembley a few years ago. It was the personal items that cannot be replaced like keepakes I had of my late father etc.

Know how you feel Gav. 11 months ago I came home from work to find the front door on the floor, two cars missing from the driveway and various other stuff taken.

Horrible feeling. I know that insurance helps the pain somewhat but its the stuff that you can't replace that you really miss. My laptop had photos from New York that I'll never get back

As McField has said, it's only possessions, and I got new shiny everything, but its the thought that the scum sold our goods for a fraction of their value to buy drugs, hopefully which will eventually kill them.

No sympathy whatsoever for the scumbags that have been killed by the house owner when found burgling.
