Well deserved for Jones-Buchanan.

Sums the Leeds season up generally, plenty of graft coupled with indiscipline. Leeds' top carries and metre maker amongst the forwards, the teams top tackler but also the biggest penalty machine in both terms of total and per match.

Some errors also but not in the same ball-park as Leeds' chief culprits in this category: McGuire, Webb, Watkins, Hall, Sinfield and Hauraki.

Surprised Ablett didnt make the top 3 and even more surprised that Webb was the runner up

well done jjb this is due recognition for a very industrious season,plenty of quality performances in both attack and defense


i thought ablett should have definitely have been in the top 2
i cant see how webb came 2nd,could anyone shed any light on something i must have missed?

Webb wouldn't even make my 17.

Agreed, Webb wouldn't be in my 17 at present either. I can only think it was earned based around his amazing play when he slotted in at Quarterback when required.

jjb played well at times, deserves to be in top 3, dont know about no1 though, abblett for me been immense, he's a totally different player to a few seasons ago, really matured. really turned up the heat since senior departed. all that hard work and no recognition, a real unsung hero. Did web sneak in while no one was looking, mmmmm don't get that one.....

Glad i can bring some merriment to some on these forums! But i have noticed that a lot of my posts are a little anti-webb and I don't want to be seen as being on a crusade like others on here. Therefore I will button my lip for a while!

Also don't see how Webb got in ahead of Ablett .. bizarre.
