| Who would we bring in as an ideal replacement?
I think short term Brian Noble and see how he kicks on and long term a team of Noble and Harris.

| Trent Robinson, based on this season.
Would he really be any worse than the other suggestions of NRL assistants?

| Id love to see Murray back but i just cant see it happening?
Why cant we do what Wigan and Catalan have done and appoint an up and coming coach from Aus?
It seems to have worked for them?

| You lot are Fooking bonkers! Harris? Yeah him GH are gonna hug and make up! Noble would lose the dressing room before stepping foot in it.
Matt Elliot, Daniel Anderson, Graham murray, dave furner, Jason taylor, brian smith, maybe Hanley?
There are some realistic long term targets who could take the club forwards not sideways or back even more!
Fooking noble my are$e!

| Agreed.
Anyone but the current team. I think my six year old daughter has better insight after watching the game with her yesterday

| Nah, wouldn't touch Harris with a barge pole. Let him try his luck at Odsal again if he fancies advancing his coaching career.
Nobby has the pedigree, but not I suspect, any enthusiasm for the Rhino brand. Which leaves us hoping that in GH's big black book of young Aussie coaches there is a name or two.....

Elliot has been signed on to be Brian Smith's assistant at Roosters. Neither are gettable. Not that I'd want Elliot anyway, personally, even though he's obviously better than McDermott. Elliot, Noble, McNamara, McDermott and Lowes are just increasingly inferior pupils of the Brian Smith academy, and though Smith himself is obviously a good club coach his school of Rugby has been clearly overtaken by the Craig Bellamy brand.
That said, Anderson or Murray I'd take in a shot.

| Murray would be my favoured likely option, but i have the sinking feeling and we will be putting up with this for next year too.

I don't think Leeds should be looking for any kind of quick fix here - this season has gone and i am sure that the search for a long term replacement would of started quite some time ago - the problems at Leeds were apparent in April with the style of play that you had adopted under the current coaching set-up.
Personally i think your current problems reflect poorly on the state of home grown coaches and replacing Mcdermott with Noble is not the answer imo - your answer lies in Australia and a club like Leeds should be looking for either a high profile Australian or someone who is well respected amongst the junior coaches - people like Ricky Stuart and Mal Meninga should be definate targets.

| could have what happened at warrington, McDermott moving down to assistant with someone like Daniel Anderson coming in as coach. not the worst case scenerio but would be a good thing imo.

| Furner is already a head coach in the NRL, why would he come to SL to be an assistant?
More realistic would be Daniel Anderson as head coach, and then he brings in an assistant of his own choice. Personally I would be happy with this.

| how about we rejig our squad first before considering the coaching options... or we could just blame BM for that too.
Noble? hmm yeah that would be an improvement because he is famous for diversities in his gameplans. Rhinos under noble - 1. big guy 2. big guy 3. big guy......... 17.big guy
