Test match RL was ruined when Morris Lindsay signed a team of Aussies in the 80's and refused to have a player cap when he run RL. A trend thats continued for the last 20 years.

Maurice Lindsay grabbed RL up by its bootstraps and got us the closest we'd been to Australia for years. Ironically the 'player cap' you refer to is the same 'player cap' currently restricting the game and holding the international team back with the mediocre league we currently play in.
But hell.....dont let that stop you from your parochial booing of an England player just because he is better than any of your past it 'stars'! |
