| We were beaten by a team who have a coach that is light years ahead of ours. Warrington were very good, and even when we were holding them in the first half, we didn't really look as though we were structured, organised, had a gameplan or good technique.
We have forgotten everything that Smith coached us, and it shows. We continually lose collisions, we are forever disorganised on the last tackle, we have no shortage of effort but plenty of shortage of brains. Delaney works hard and can run some good lines, but needs to learn hoe to defend in a structure. We seriously lack go forward and composure, two key ingredients of a well coached team.
GH needs to look for a new coach for next year, because another year of this and people will lose interest.

| I'm not a Leeds fan, but going on tonights performance and previous ones I've witnessed this season, Weller Hauraki should be immediately paid up and asked to leave your club. The guy is dire. His yardage tonight must have been in the minus bracket, given the number of times he was driven back by the Warrington defence. God knows what McLennan was thinking when he targeted him as a replacement for Eastwood - the two players are polar opposites in terms of actual rugby ability. He wouldn't break any pots in the Championship based on what I've seen of him, and thats not a ridiculous prediction. Surely there's a talented kid in the Academy who would do a better job.

Some? Constant questions, even if I do 'brown nose' the lad.
Clarky deserved to be there before 70% of the 17!

He was no worse than Pitts, who's had one good half against Crusaders and now has some people on here convinced he's Gareth Ellis.

| Serious lack of structure in both attack and defence. Players need to know their roles and stick to them. Our last tackle options are embarrassing, how many times do our kickers get shut down and we end up getting tackled or putting a nothing kick in.
Very bizarre bench tonight. Burrow on the bench and no Mcshane is 1 strange decision, but that could be excused with rotation as an explanation.. But - playing against one of the strongest packs in the league, we run with probably our 2 most in-effective meter makers on the bench, giving us just about as little impact as we could have mustered from our available pack men. Bailey did a bit (and I think I'm being generous there) of decent work, but we seriously needed some grunt (and not the pushing/trying to intimidate Richer Myler because he's not as tough the wire pack sort of grunt). Our interchange props should have been Burgess and Cross (Im know he's not impressed many, but at least he'll bang it in and fight fire with fire)

| Tbf to pitts I agree that some people are getting carried away with him because he had a good game against the crusaders, but at the same time having him in thr side for two games then out for one then back in is doing him no favours, fair enough if he was playing badly but he wasn't!
I couldn't go last week to the quins game but going from what the guys on here have said clarkson was close to being man of the match. He's come along way in 12 months and was the shining light during our injury crisis last season.
Mcshane has been improving all the time this season, he's very confident and the sort of player who will try something different something we needed last night, having burrow on the bench for an hour was a waste of a bench spot!
Cross I know he's taken some flak but he is only gonna get better by playing, against a big side like warrington with no burgess, Amor and ambler out on loan and he still can't get in the team shows he's well out of favour, at this moment in time it's hard to see him playing again this season.
Burgess im sure he's carrying a knock from the catalans game but if he's not then it's just an absolute joke that he's not getting selected probably our most improved player.
If McGuire is seen fit enough to start, why not start him and burrow in the halves, sinny at lock, mcshane on the bench, jjb and clarkson in the back row with lauititi on the bench with I'd have gone with burgess if fit and cross.
McDermott assistant coach yes, head coach no
Lowes tbh is at the right level

| It's pretty clear that our top starting pack is Peacock, Buderus, Leuluai, Ablett, JJB, Sinfield. Ok, this week Ablett has to go in the centres, so Clarkson comes into our strongest pack which, with our best impact bench against a good side, reads:
Peacock
Buderus
Leuluai
JJB
Clarkson
Sinfield
McShane
Lauititi
Burgess
Cross
Not a bad set of forwards, and a bit of retort to those who say Leeds don't have the personnel at the moment. ALL of those ten players were available last night, but only five played in the pack and only six played at all.
Very strange selection from the coach.

| Why didn't he start sinfield at loose, burrow and McGuire At halves, have McShane on the bench.
I just don't get it. Supposedly burrow was on the bench "because he has played a lot of minutes so far this season", absolutely ridiculous.
I also don't think ali did much last night other than let his frustration boil over and constantly try to slap the ball out of opposition hands. First half he did it on the last when he could have tackled the man with the ball, it was given as a knock on against him and we were facing another set in our own 30m.

spot on. you only have to look at the giants, wigan and wolves to see how a top class coach can make a difference. we don't even have a second class coach.
hetherington has to take a large share of the blame too. the rot started in blueys last year when there was no discipline and, as one england regular told me " we did what we wanted basically".
his appointment of mcdermott was shocking given his record, even if it was at quins. was it the cheap option? i don't know.
what i do know is he clearly is not good enough for a club like leeds.
the recruitment is shoddy at best. you second second rate players, you get a second rate team.
this squad needs a big overhaul. there are too many players who are yesterdays men or simply not good enough.the signings need to be quality.
if this dross continues people will vote with there feet and we will be back to ten years ago.
gary, sort it out

| Is Clarkson injured? He's impressed me a lot from what I've seen of Leeds this year and can fill in a few positions right? As for WH, his place in the Leeds side should be in the reserves.

| according to clarkson on twitter he's not injured, the first half we werent too bad we got back into the game and were working hard, in the second half it was shocking poor errors, bad discipline no mental toughness something that has been lacking all season, tbh bluey got some stick last season but in his three season we conceded 40+ points in a game once and that was against saints at knowsley road last season 41-20 this season 40 and 42 against warrington, 36 against hudders, 38 against hull kr, 28 against the bulls ( altho we won but thats no the point) 36 against quins, that is simply not good enough, a good D is more inportant to a team like leeds that the attack imo simply because we have the players to score points, sort your defense out and the attack can take care of itself.

| I am really trying to be patient but Hauraki made little effort again. He watched instead of tackling more than once and that is often the sum of his contribution! Sorry Weller but time to go. Please!!!!!
